Fantastic! I've seen a few of these around this year since the weather warmed up. Always a great sight

Supposedly done 25k miles, which is obviously total bollocks, but engine sounds sweet, gears gear, brakes brake etc. It’s bound to be hiding something horrendous, but if it is, it’s not obvious 😱

I love these. Friend of mine has a white jag and used to have a white Daimler with the v8 and auto box. We did a wedding with them once upon a time and I got to drive the manual jag. What a lovely machine! Would pilot again.

The rivalry between of the Daimler V8 250 vs Mk 2 Jag was intense!

Daimler was supposedly a far nicer car to drive than the 2.4 Jaguar…..This has the Jaguar gearbox, not the rather agricultural Moss g’box that the 2.4 had

There are reports that some people put the 4.5 Daimler V8 in them. Apparently they went very, very well! [I think the engine came out of the Conquest, but I'm not absolutely certain.]

Yup…. Although it’s by no means a bolt in swap. I used to have a Majestic Major with that engine…. It was unfeasibly rapid for what was basically a country mansion on wheels

I approve.  Especially all this talk of the 4.5.....
