Was that heater control panel fitted to every single Japanese vehicle between 1980 and 2005? :D If I was travelling in a rickshaw or a Japanese rocket, I'd expect to see one just like it

Ha ha, thanks for drawing my attention to that pic, just noticed ive left the spare key on the dash..... and its parked out on the road

That's proper grade A shite that is. I wonder what the chances of finding one over here are? I have a hankering for a pickup after the Volvo has expires..

Seem to remember seeing the same thing in my Corolla and MR2!

TBF that is shit, o.k It's a rare Pick up model (Homebrew?), I've never seen one before but it is rotten and personally i have no problems with that getting scrapped, I still like it though.

Bet that would make a few bob for export. Pretty sure that if it's off to africa they won't be too fussed as to whether it is scrappage fodder or not.

scrappage is terrible, why won't somebody think of the children etc etc

Hold your horses, no-one's said anything yet and we can all see that's bloody knackered anyway.

Very true FD but you're kicking off about something that hasn't happened! I can't see one negative post in this thread apart from your own.

I'd drive a Fuego into it. Or a Glacier White Corsa. What am I saying? I'm ambivalent.

FD are you egging on for a row?, You moan about people having a go at you about bragging about the scrappage scheme but you start it of by moaning about the haters and "and 90 % of scrappage stuff is knackered" comments don't help neither.

Dear god thats slightly well used! Out of interest, what was it traded in for? Funny how the wheels still have some shine, I see so many rusty old cars with such well kept rims.

90% of scrappage victims look better than most of the cars I've owned! The Daihatsu looks like an utter shed, but could it live on an off road farm hack, even if it goes through the 'scrappage' process?

ahh sorry didn't realise tongue in cheek could not be understood, and that there are different rules for others.bragging about scrappage?you obviously don't get my posts.i could brag that i have saved more scrappage cars than anybody else, but i don't.

so your a modest chap then  these diahatshmoos are great trucks the engines go on for ever just a shame the bodywork cant keep up, one off my old ones is still going after 251k miles the bodywork is rough but the chassis is sound, i bet that ones chassis is also sound they are very heavy grade steel, does seem a shame as the pickups are the rarest but its a bit to far gone for most to care anyway.

Sometimes tongue in cheek doesn't come across as that when written down, maybe put a  on the end or something.Anyway i recoken that Daihatsu would be idea farm yard fodder.

so your a modest chap then :roll:point missed completely.so you willing to take my next scrappage save of my hands then?if i had a bit of land that 4 track would be ideal, maybe it would look too shabby next to the farmers l200 animals !
