There's one of those, same colour, lives next door to us. They've had it at least as long as we've lived here, which is ten years. A couple of weeks ago it went away on the back of a recovery truck. I thought perhaps that was it, but no, it reappeared last week and appears to be in perfect working order again. Which is nice.

Not my photo, but two early ZXs the same colour and in the wild is good going, even in the country of their manufacture.

I don't think this is coincidence, there's a clue in the background

And bringing things up to date (in case you cared, the reg mark on the rear one is 3 higher)

That shot was taken during filming of Thunderball at the Château d'Anet in Eure et Loire

Yes, on FB it was described as a Thunderball backstage shot and I wouldn't be able to disagree.

I know continuity wasn't the strongest suit of older films, but fuck me couldn't they at least get the GB badges on the same side? 😂

Look carefully and you'll notice the number plates are different styles!

Meanwhile, I thought I'd repost this from my Barrow Wheels thread...

...as a lead-in to these...

Does a pair of these make them "Mokkasins"?

Not an easy angle, but a pair of 207s, both black, both five-door, was worth the effort (wasn't it?).

And from recent events at the Lakeland Motor Museum...

I literally wouldn't have a clue.  But I wouldn't be surprised.  There was a copcar across the end of my street a couple of hours ago, I wonder what that was about...

Twinned?, Try tripletsIMG_20231115_112144.jpg.fdd4c462f16faf1c621964981a640a9e.jpgIMG_20231115_112203.jpg.b50f1c6f942358fbf8ff139f11d8e1bb.jpg

Seems to be a common thing around here, aside from a neighbour who used to have several L200's and now has a few Zafiras (None colour matching for full twinnage, sadly), There's a house nearby with 3 identical Mitsubishi outlanders and i'm waiting for the holy grail.... the 4 yellow Jeep Renegades all parked in close proximity.

Two of the many Qashqais that live on the next street!

And on the next street along, two Renault Capturs from what could easily have been a selection.

And my dog Memphis.  She is the reason I walk these streets.

At first glance you'd think they were ex Royal Mail but they don't have the tell tale ghost markings so I don't think they are.

On my daily dog walk.   First time in years that these two beauts haven't been blocked in by other cars.  Puma (now scrapped) and Fabia.

The passenger door on the one further up the drive appears partially open, so it may be beyond hope.
