Yep, the R56s can’t all be disaster zones. My Neighbour got over 160k miles out of his before chopping it in as it needed a clutch, and he ragged it mercilessly all the time. It did have a timing chain at some point though I seem to remember.

My BINI ownership experience was really positive apart from a dicky air mass sensor (previous model tho). Cheerful place to be at the wheel and good fun on the twistehs.

Lovely looking thing, I've had experience with a petrol prince engine twice and I said never again BUT if it was cheap then maybe....

Would have to be very cheap!
