Some of you will know what it is

keep it a secret for the others

i've bought a car, and i'm getting it delivered cos it's pre broken!

it has an electrical fault, it doesn't start, it has no MOT and it needs a fair bit of work

and i probably paid too much for it

excellent!

estimated arrival time of 4pm ish

poo count so far, 0, i've just got out of bed

I love a pre broken car, saves the trouble of breaking it!

Give us a clue?

ex-Boll Rover possibly?

Or any Vauxhall with a dead fuel relay?

...with the hood stuck in the 'down' position, and rain forecast for later?

Gotta be a soft top of some description tho? MX-5?

I'm guessing some sort of hydropneumatic Citroen.

Most other cars can simply be pushed if they aren't running.

I remember seeing these brand new at the Motorshow in the late 80s. I'm not a particular fan of the marque but these things really caught my eye and for the right reasons. Beautiful design and I particularly liked the back end styling. I guess it was inevitable that the designer would get it so right after looking at his back catalogue. What a guy.

I'll start guessing, alphabetical order:
Citroen XM
Ford Probe
Lamborghini Diablo (lol)
Mazda MX6 (yes 6. I'll also throw my hat in for the MX3.)
Nissan Sentra
Saab 900
Subaru Justy/legacy/svx
Suzuki swift
Vw corrado (slower so in 1.8 or 2.0 guise)
