Ugliest vehicle EVAR?

The Rodius has headlights in the correct place. That fact alone makes it less offensive than the 'Juke'.

Why would you design something so spectacularly offensive and THEN make it's name rhyme with another name for vomit?

Posted

Unbeleiveable!

the Juke will, says the firm, "inject some masculinity and dynamism into the small car market".

Roffles!I love how for years and years manufacturers have striven to make interiors bereft of any hint of the exterior metalwork. And then all of a sudden in recent times....

It's unexpected, and that gives it a certain sexiness

but for some cars their uglyness is also there beauty, i.e. the Tagora, 504, Lada Riva's etc, and others we laughed at as children...

I wouldnt say the Tagora is ugly, just monumentaly bland - which is obviously a MAJOR plus point.

I agree. There's a difference between bland car design and down right hideousness. Bland cars don't have enough distinguishing features. Ugly cars have too many!

It's supposed to have some 4WD capability, but considering this:

Neat styling touches on the Joke include a faux sump guard that forms part of the air intake assembly, forming a series of circular slots.

how long will it take before it's realised that ploughing through rutted tracks, deep puddles and floodwater will not be a good thing for the engine?Car's name edited for accuracy.

If we're talking fugly cars, what about the previous shape Subaru Tribeca?

The rear's even worse!

But then Peugoet have only gone and pulled another one out of the bag:

I'm also feeling a bit wierd, as I don't mind that Juke too much.....

Personally speaking I find the Ka and bug eyed Scorpios incredibly hideous.

Apt name though, a combination of Joke and Puke 8)

Any car that has even a hint of 'normal', mass-market proportions can't possibly claim to be worse than this:

Juke looks like an early 70s Datsun 120Y to me - all that pointless bulging bodywork and the squinty window line. Wonder if those deep dish hubcaps will be an option?

Do you seriously think there's any likelihood of it ever actually doing that?

What's the chances of it not happening? At the first opportunity of people making an arse of something, they usually do.

How about the new Mini Countryman. Hideous.

It has to be a contender for ulgiest car.

I can't really decide whether it's really ugly or not. It's definately wierd. At least it's not dull. I need to see one in the flesh to be honest. The Qwashqwhy has been really sucessful for Nissan and I wouldn't be surprised if this thing is too.

I actually gasped at how ugly that is!

It's supposed to be a safety vehicle. I'm not sure where 'windscreen you can't see out of' comes into that.

Is that a Midas Gold? I used to like them as a kid. Still think they look okay. I suppose its subjective.

Tis a Mini-Marcos I believe

I like the Juke, it looks quite interesting like some kind of downsized Dakar rally special.

Vive la France!

That Ami is hard to beat for mingingness.

Always thought the BL safety cars were pretty gruesome though:

And this one was so ugly, they had to fit a device to stop your kids from climbing out and flinging themselves under the wheels:

the french are the best at gormless motors

I just had to wait whilst some million-year-old woman did a fifteen point turn in one of these:

It was offending me to look at it.
