I have a sneaky feeling this 205 is actually pretty well screwed together. Twin 40's, leather interior and a year's test.

Sierra GT, with slightly suss (maybe photoshoppy) pics. Still worth a punt, 'cos he's listed it at £500 but, will take offers. A box of spiders and a stale pineapple sandwich? Maybe in time it'll become socially acceptable, but not here, and not now.

30,000 mile 5-door Vanden Plas Metro - thus MG engine with a manual gearbox - in Enfield, North London: £299, I can feel the Mini boys sniffing around it from here.

Lives on the same street as my work; it was in our workshops a couple of years ago getting welding and amazingly enough it is used daily.

What a hero.

Fark me vicar, it looks like he made the body out of an old barn making the shapes using a rubber mallet then shoved a flower pot on the bonnet.

I know we've had this cock fest before but it's so bad I reckon it deserves a repost.

'STUNNING CONDITION FOR AN ORIGINAL 37 YEAR OLD MK2 ESCORT'

A car that's so 'original' the vendor has spent nine hours scribbling out all the modifications it had. Sadly these seem to include the Crayola on the side of it.

This must be a bloody early one and it looks the part, though you'd want pictures of the sides of the car etc.

Is it still for sale? I'm sure I linked this one about two months ago. If I didn't I've taken a look at the ad myself. Gorgeous example. Top Spec for it's time too - the 1.6 Ghia. Variable intermittent wipers and whilst this doesn't have it, you could have also specced this when new with a factory-fitted CD player. I'm trying to source one for my LX actually, but they're rare as hens teeth.

It's in slightly better nick than mine too and believe me, that's saying something given the attention mine gets... Then again, this is effectively brand new given the mileage.

P.S - It's certainly early, but it's still five months younger than mine...!

That wouldn't be a half-arsed tribute to Dale Earnhardt would it? I'm sure some of his NASCAR steeds had a similar paint job.

If so, he's probably spinning in his grave faster than the turbo on a drug dealer's Impreza.

Ah yes, if there was one car I'd associate with NASCAR, it would be the Primera

What IS this picture meant to represent? A driverless (Christine stylee) Escort patrolling the countryside scaring flashers and/or doggers out from behind hedges?

Even more worryingly, it has the general appearance of an illustration from a children's book.

Something is deeply, deeply wrong there.

That Miafiori is LUSH - tis a repost from a couple of pages back, but hey, it's a good excuse to leer at it again. Almost £2300 now....wish i had space, time, cash etc etc blah blah....I'd have that AND Pete-M's 604.

So much shite, so little time.

Painting a Mk2 Escort like that is deeply, deeply wrong.

Still, it must have knocked £2000 off the value. Anyone who buys it will need to get the thing repainted.

Not sure if this should go in here or the Bargains thread....nice, but not minty Citroen GS in Autoshite Pale-beige...

$(KGrHqQOKi4E6fG-,jd2BOsCLD)l!!~~_12.JPG

I know for a PHAKT these weren't much more than this (£3395) new, as Mutha and Fatha_Outlaw bought one new in October 1977 for £2995. So minimal depreciation.....but it's taken this long to creep back up.

It's a crying shame as a very early Mk2 RS2000 which that is would be well worth having but he's dreaming if he thinks it's gonna fetch big money with the wrong interior, bodged door cards and a crayola picture of a Mk2 flat-front on the rear 1/4s.

If that still had the proper Scheele seats and hadn't been coloured in by some grunting mong* I'd have thrown a bid at it, but looking at it and reading his description even if the thing was 50p and a half-sucked Werthers original I wouldn't buy it - as the bloke does appear to be an utter moron.

Having said that, I've just 'done an eBay' and sent him a message asking if he's got the original unmolested interior and how hard it would be to remove the childs scrawls from the sides.

if I bought that escort i'd have to bring a can of white hammerite to the sellers house and cheerfully paint over that fucking mural before setting off home, it is the most hideous thing I have ever seen. The fact that the seller is comemmorating Coline 'McRea' and Roger 'Clarke' just confirms the grade a cripple he clearly is.
