1984 A, MK2 Cavalier, 1.6 L Auto One lady owner, 142k. In brown, of course...! :D

Supposedly only 18k miles on this 1991 J Escort. Three door 'L' model (getting thin on the ground), Burgandy Red and Goodwood grey cotton. One downside - it's the horrid 1.3. Even I would say "no" to this as a result. Still, at less than 300 sheets at the moment, it's decent value...

There I go, I say an 'L' three door is getting rare and there's another one on there... Same colour, 57k miles but 92 spec Spa Grey Velour interior, clear front indicators and the considerably better 1.4. Cheaper too... 70 pictures of it in Photobucket for fellow Escort pervs. I then noticed the parcel shelf...

Not strictly for sale this one, but there's one heck of a mouldy B reg Nova being broken in Wellingborough...

hello darling

1978 AUSTIN ALLEGRO SPEC LE GREEN for spares or repair/restoration project

http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/1978-AUSTIN-A ... 0987257359

Allegro LE's are Urbra Rare, The fact is this, The ACI only know of 2 left on earth :D , Only 1 is Roadworthy, This is worth around £500 for very rare LE Bits and the ID alone , this looks rerpairable but You may be able to re-shell it using a Tara Green vanden Plas as they are around.

I'll leve it up to You

Matt

This may be a daft question, but what differentiates an LE-spec Allegro from any other, apart from a blue stripe, a couple of "LE" transfers and what is by modern standards a fairly mingebag interior? Although, if I'm being charitable, head restraints were a big deal in 1977...

Right, ACI Head on Here for this,

The LE Had Go Faster Stripes, Plush Seats,Tinted glass, Rev Counter, Radio,Wilton Carpets,Front and rear Fog Lights ,1500 E-series engine, VP Wheel Trims ,Leather Steering wheel,Think Vanden Plas Allegro without Walnut, Leather and that posh grille

,The Last time a LE Sold in the ACI a few years ago ,it went for Four Figures!

'83 Volvo 244 GLT Hearse. €750 with a problematic K-jetronic system and no MOT. Germany.

Rather a lot better. €800. Audi 100 2.2E with just over 100k on the clock. Described as running well, but parked up for a year. Germany again.

Buick Century. 4.9 V8. 138 bhp. Doesn't go as the battery is flat. €999. How bad can it be?

You two could be like Herr Bolloks and own a rusty BiTurbo. This is an Italian spec 2.0, with German papers. Engine runs.... for three seconds. €1000.

This doesn't look too bad. Needs "no extensive welding" (which is how my Escort was described...) been off the road since '97, BBS LM rims on it. €1190. Germany.

He just tweeted it.

You can google for details of the car (documented resto means it won't be cheap) and then either email him at Octane magazine, ARonline, or pm him on here.

EDIT:

http://www.aronline.co.uk/blogs/2011/08 ... -for-sale/ from last year.

Ah, thanks, I get it now. I didn't recognise the name or the car - which probably disqualifies me from owning such a famous and deservedly well-loved thing.

Shame really because it's dead fit and £4750, while a slew of cash, doesn't seem too salty given all that's been lavished on it. I'd rather have this than one sixth of an RS2000, anyway.

This is quite possibly the most miserable car* ever in the history of anything: Aixam 500 Diseasel.

£595 BIN

Why would you inflict that on yourself? I'm most amused that even though it's such a small car* they've still not managed to get it in frame properly.

I can't believe this didn't get more attention from you lot, it's the inspiration behind the Earnshaw Diamond.

I'm buggered if I know how to post up the other pictures, but it's got a diamond shaped floorpan & steers with front

& rear wheels, I saw it at a show about 10 years ago where it spluttered & ran a little.

Apparently the bloke converted it from new & did a huge mileage in the horror.

It's not a Meteor Scoots - t'is his son's 16v I'm guessing. He's got two of them I think. Though Keith certainly is a man of impeccable taste!

I can't believe this [Maxwagen] didn't get more attention from you lot...

+1 on that, what a spectacularly shite creation. I puzzled over those pictures for ages trying to work out which problems it solved. Didn't come up with any...

I've been perving over those Allegros. The bronze one is mighty fine, the blue one is in my town.... and I've just got on the Stella....

That Jag is the kind of thing I would take pity on/ fall hopelessly in love with (delete as applicable)

No steering wheel; no mention of tax or test, therefore unlikely to have any; visible damage to the kit; only the seller's word for its driving abilities. Marvellous. Worth 99p all day long. 500 times the fun you get with a Lotto ticket anyway!
