Those Taunus'ssssss (Taunii?) are lovely, snapped a couple in Crete a few years back..

Posted
 I've never seen a Taunus that shape before. Is that a 1300 V4?

Oh yes....

To be fair, although this one is boggo, it's the only one that is, out of at least half a dozen in Andreas's yard! All the others are or have been rally cars, which could still be this one's fate too, as it's a 1600. AFAIK every one of them has been in Cyprus from new.

Thanks Eddie, would love to get my hand on a boggo one whilst there are still some around!! I have never seen one on Leboncoin so I assume they were never sold in France!

Early Lada being stripped for banger racing. :(

Bastards, makes you sick. Are there not enough Mondeo's to race?!

That Taunus is a real peach, I'd love to own it but budgets dictate otherwise, If it wasn't for the Cortina I'd be all over it at that price too!

On my phone and haven't worked out how to link yet but check out the weapons grade melon with item number: 28044015687.

I have always preferred the Mk3 escrot over the MK4.

This is the reply I got from the Allegro "project" seller:

Get and buy it man,its only £295 do your self a favour break it and help keep them few hundred on the road, you havn't got to charge the earth for the parts, just try and help other allegro lovers because as you said they are getting less and less, look at the other side of the coin it is so cheap for any body to purchase for a project there are many 1000cc mini engines around that would go into it,that would keep it on the road,

thanks for your valid point but if i dont buy them they will more than likely end up scrapped or banger racing, kev

That Allegro was for sale complete on ebay recently. It had stood for a number or years, I think the garage had taken it in part-exchange and forgotten about it. It finished on £200 odd not sold! I think the breakers yard next door may have had it and decided to break it.

I was considering having a punt on it but it was VERY green and mouldy, I suspect its going to be quite rotten.

I hadn't realised it was that one, I did consider it too as it is not too far away. They have done a good job in cleaning it up then.

I must admit I assumed it was a cosetted example they had bought, it did look like that one needed a fair bit of work on it. So maybe it is not so bad then!

That allegro looks a bit crusty. The seller seems to have sprayed both the interior and exterior with a pressure washer, the footwells are full of water and the dash is wet. Maybe it was nice once but whoever this is has royaly fucked it.

Diagnosis: Bellend.

Celebrity:

1) sometimes referred to as a celeb in popular culture, is a non-entity, usually balloon titted fucking gobshite who has a prominent profile in car crash televsion programmes and commands a great degree of public fascination and influence in day-to-day media. The term is synonymous with stupidity, over inflated ego, (commonly denoted as a person with a footballing husband), implied with great popular appeal, prominence in a particular field, and is easily recognized by the general public.

2) Dangerously wank car with a dangerously wank advert. Sometimes referred to as 'Cat D' a non-entitiy of a listing which has prominently featured in several actual car crashes and commands a great deal of LOL amongst eBay viewers. The term in syonymous with rust, shit pictures and bodyfiller (commonly noted as vendor with verbal excretia) implied with great unpopular appeal, prominence in a scrapyard field, and is easily recognised by shite car lovers.

Why anyone would think that those two pictures are of any use unless you like playing the e-bay equivalent of blind date!

A lot of e-bayers do not appear to have realised that a well worded, honest advert complete with some decent pictures could be the difference of a few hundred quid!

Someone (Shaun1706?) PLEASE buy this. Looks like an utter weldathon/wob fest but it should be saved (imho) and £300 doesn't sound too bad.

The Peugeot 504 has always been GR9 4 EXPORT. This one has been exported from Africa. Comes complete with aircon and shite facelift (faecelift?). Bit salty though.

Mr & Mrs Cavette's 2nd honeymoon chariot?

where did the back end of these come from? was there a Senator coupe? I'm wondering what it would look like if someone chopped out the rear doors and welded the ends together to make a Senator coupe
