£3,300 for a Nova and it's worth every last penny of that...

Lush.

I had a Nova Sport back in around 1992, mine had white BMW steelies on it that the previous owner had fitted. It was a complete dog to drive 'normally', those 40's made it only possible to go slowly or flat-out - which meant screaming tyres, torque-steer and an utterly fantastic noise. It did under 20 mpg, much less if you booted it.

During it's time with me it was stolen and recovered in Liverpool (I live in Essex) and had a clout in the rear wing from a 1920's Bugatti race-car.

I'd have another in a heartbeat, they have so much character.

This looks like it could be an amusing thing to blez about in, even if it does desperately need some bigger wheels. Too far away from me or I might well be having a punt.

Norn Irish plates FTW!

Surely that has to be a shoe in for the ugliest ford competition?

WANT! Only in Hoylake as well.

That's the one I was offered (and mentioned on here) recently. Fat Baz works with a mate of mine and is bang into Rovers, I reckon there's room for manouver (manouvre?) in that price too as I'm sure he told me £450.

No chance, you can see at least 98% of that car.

Ooooh, that 820 coupé would be a great way of getting a half decent LPG system.

Buy it, whip the LPG off, send the rest over the bridge.

99 Sterling £295....

WANT!!!!

Whilst the KV6 isnt exactly the most relable of engines, they are possibly amongst the most refined the 800 has ever seen. I've driven and been in a few and they are beautful quiet engines. I really must get myself one, maybe one day eh........ :|

Horrible gutless cars in the regular US guise - even came with a cassette player and no CD until they dropped the model from what I remember of the rental cars....

That's part of the problem, you could drive one across a bowling green and the bloody thing would shake your teeth out and snap your spine if it hit a blade of grass that was lying the wrong way. Provided it managed to make it that far without breaking down.

This is incredible, in my humble opinion.

This is what remains of the 1984 Ripspeed Isuzu Piazza, built especially for the show before Ripspeed was a stick on tat Halfords brand name. What makes it doubly interesting is that it was a grey import JDM XE model, imported a full two years before Follets starting bringing UK spec Piazzas. Not sure what colour it was originally but it got given a one off paint job, bodykit and a fully leather trimmed leather interior - and those split rims.

The vendor seems to be hawking it for the value of its numberplate, but IPTOC Clive went to see it several years ago and says its dog rough underneath and a long way from an MOT. A shame, because it's probably the earliest Piazza left in the UK. The fact it's Japanese spec and running a non turbo G200 engine (the same as Mr Bickle's 117) make it doubly intriguing. There was an earlier Piazza (a naturally aspirated pov spec Bella) that came over as a GM assessment car but that rotted away to nothing in a breaker's yard around 2002-3.

Three Piazzas for sale on eBay at the moment - that must be some sort of record. That's getting on for a tenth of the cars still extant.
