I did notice that, GTD... maybe he means "spectacularly average"?

I've been to see cars described as "mint" condition far worse than that to be honest...

Describing a car a spectacular, as in spectacular condition, when it clearly isn't, is surely just setting up yourself for a "no sale" situation when the buyer comes to pick it up and it is not as described?

One owner Honda Accord, in reasonable condition but needs bodywork sorted, would be more accurate.

By jove this looks rather fetching, but if it's the same one I've spotted elsewhere it's about €9000.

WE WILL PAY A MINIMUM OF £125

eh?

I'd be asking where they're going to bring them to.

-I reckon this to be a 1.8 GT mislabelled as a 2.0 so all the XE RWD crowd will likely ignore it. Non-sunroof so could be a decent project if the vender will shift on the price etc.

Best of luck Trig, it deserves another good home.

I'd have that Olds Delta, looks alright! It has a red strip between the back lights and fancy diamond-cut wheels, that's about as good as it gets.

re: Astra Estates, scrolling quickly through the last page, the number plate on the slightly scruffy one appeared to me to read ARSE LAD.

Hubba hubba hubba. If this was yellow I'd be on my way to his house with cash now. Even at £4500.

Unfortunately, yellow ones are £8500. (reserve not met

seized from the road side no keys and its locked treat it as a barn find , rubber bumper version , beleived to be all there evidence of some repairs and restoration

This vehicle is being sold because it was being used otherwise than in accordance with the Road Traffic Act and has been seized. The owner has either not collected it or has not paid the outstanding fines. The liability for those fines remains with the previous keeper.

Vehicles may have to be collected by a tow truck unless advertised as having a key and running. Any use on the road is completely at the buyers risk AND THE VEHICLE HAS TO BE ROADWORTHY.

I wonder how much hassle getting a set of keys for this would be? Have always fancied one of these and this could be quite a bargain!

Drove her back from Bournemouth to London 5 months ago with no problem and have been driving her around locally but has recently started to smoke oil. I think it is only the valve seals/rubbers that have gone as she drives ok.

Mark 1 Golf in not having rusty bonnet and roof rack shocker!

1990 VW polo "rat look" owned by 1 family from new until it came to me for a makeover which includes;

75mm lowering springs

Skoda falicia alloys powder coated yellow (2 spare)

2 old school desmo roof racks (1 altered slightly to fit)

Roof rack ladder from rear bumper upwards

Custom fire damaged bonnet

tastefully applied stickers to body work

Carefully placed forklift truck dents

Racing number painted on n/s door

You could of course remove all of the above but i would be gutted if you did, it would be better to add to the de-construction in my opinion.

This seems a bit of a waste, its tax has only just run out :( :

The owner of that "Rat look" Polo seems to be a cock of the highest grade, I'd like to run into him with a forklift.

Too right!

Surely all that crap piled up on the roof rack would make the car fairly unstable in side winds!!

The Doctor has returned!, How the hell does he make them look so good?!

Haven't a clue. I should let him loose on my car!!

He seems to have a knack of unearthing these low mileage gems.

I don't think I have seen that colour interior in a Cortina before, the red ones I have seen always seemed to have grey and tan trim.

I remember a friends mum had a white mark 1 Cavalier 2.0 GL with seats that colour, it seemed very 'plush'.

I'd suspect a good camera and then some fancy software that gets the best out of any photograph.

The GF is into photography and has taken a few snaps of some of her average looking friends and makes them look very shaggable with a few clicks of a mouse button

Doubt you need software improvements. Clearly, he puts a lot of effort into preparing the car. A footwell full of old sausage roll wrappers and a view of his pants on the washing line in the background never seem to be features of his shots. He uses the light well and gravel is a great surface to park on for shots like these.

Some great chod on the Bay at the moment. I really need to sell some cars so I can partake in another random purchase!
