Go for it Bol. Chevettes kick arse, even with the dismal interior. Best Vauxhall I've ever driven, and I've driven a couple.

I owned this car from 1998-2001. It was absolutely mint and totally original.

I actually purchased it from a Chrysler Technician who had PDI'd the car when new ...it was to be the runabout for the wife of the General Manager at the Chrysler dealer in Westcliffe -On -Sea.

 

I sold it for £650, in order to buy a TR7, which in hindsight was too cheap. Looks like the past ten years haven't been too bad to it , and I would say it's a very rare car now.

 

I've got too many motors at the mo, otherwise I'd deffo have that back and bring it back up to its former glory.

I spotted the BHJ plate on that car, supplied new by Currie Motors no doubt. I love these facelift Avengers, I think the half-arsed facelift looks so utterly naff.

Didn't we talk about bringing a load of old Fords from abroad a while ago? Someone's done it, but I bet they didn't buy an old Simca from the profits
