There was a bit in the paper the other day about Lord Linley(IIRC) driving a Fiat 500 that was 'tax exempt because it's over 20 years old...' If a national newspaper can't get it right, what chance have you got?

Christ, I wouldn't be seen dead in that horrible sack of shit. Truly disgusting.
I'm sure that's been on before but in a more unfinished state. Certainly looks familiar.

dont want to start a thread for this, but does anyone here want my mates Morris Minor? I dont know much about it tbh but here it is

he says:

"i'd like it to go to someone i know if i'm honest, but may go the gumtree route if i have to.

i paid £600 and would only want the same. the MOT has just expired but it's taxed until September (which is free obviously). It does need work, but the engine is sweet and start first time and sounds very happy. it's all running fine but needs a new front wing and back doors. you could drive it as it is, but it would be best to get it all done to a good standard."

I reckon thats pretty cheap assuming ti wont need loads for the test... if I had my fuggin license i'd be on it like a shot (waiting for the doovla to post my new provisional, wheels slowly starting to turn on this....)

I did too but to his credit he sent a polite mail via eBaY and said he was going to remove the 'tax exempt next year' bit.
