Ebay Tat Volume 2 - Sadly deceased.

I saw this in Tesco carpark in Stevenage the other day, dwarfed between a modern Insigna and some other boring tat I can't remember.

The front wings were frilly as a ballerinas frock and the seats were well worn....but it did turn my head!

The Rancho was on a year or two back, with its fancy wheels and auto 'box.

Who else thinks Pog must invest to live up to his new status?

This old cortina has seemingly been repaired with an offcut of carpet nailed on with some old roofing tacks.. It's got a years MOT as well.

This on the other hand is tidy . It's nice to see a plain old capri as I'd forgotten they looked so good not tarted up.

Not crazy money either.

Is your courier/transport/haulage company struggling due to the stagnant economy and spiralling fuel prices? Heres the answer:

Q: Hi. Can you advise if it is below 550 kg certified unladen kerb weight. Thanks steve

A: Hi As I am aware the fox is over 550kg and it cannot be driven on a bike licence Cheers Dave

seems perfectly reasonable to me, often the parts are worth more than the shitbox itself.

It would be helpful if he mentioned how much he wanted for the bits though. I know that restoring vehicles ain't cheap but having an idea that most of the bits you'll need would set you back say £300 would give you a bit more confidence about bidding on the rest of it.

That said imagine how much of a PITA if he put the bits up as separate auctions finishing at the same time as the van

This looks class, 2.9 V6 like but at least its a manual box. What a cracker!

Bloody hell, that's excellent! My first car (after a B-reg Samba that got buggered by a backstreet garage!) was a 2.9 manual Ghia X. Just the right balance of refinement (in lower revs) and driver involvement.

Forgive me if Im wrong, but thats an auto. In the pic of the drivers seat, theres two pedals and an auto gearbox shifter and surround.

Still a gorgeous car though...

Well spotted, backed up by the "Transmission: Automatic" in the description box.
