What a lovely Fiat 127! What a lovely Zephyr! What a long Cadillac! Actually a Cadillac like that was our wedding car in 1998, and after the owner died it appeared on ebay in 2006 or 7, looking like it hadn't been touched in the meantime. Damn, I didn't have the spare cash. How often do you get the chance to buy your wedding limo??????

The owner of this tasty Gamma has photographed the full mot certificate and V5 numbers (GR8 4 RINGIN) so I just ran it's mot history through the DVLA site as you do (http://www.direct.gov.uk/en/Motoring/Ow ... G_10020539), It makes for depressing reading.

I can't understand how a car can pass one year, yet the following year after only covering 20 odd miles can fail again on about 10 different items.

That Ro80 is a dog unfortunately, I had it looked at by an NSU boffin.

If you squint a bit, that lovely Lancia's registration says Luuuurve Box 8)

That Gamma was sitting outside Pratt's garage in Dunphail('d its MOT, ahahaha) for over a year. I'm sure when I checked with the DVLA it hadn't been taxed since 1999.

It's almost certainly going to get stripped for the engine, and probably bangered. To save the nice number plate it needs MoT, which I can't see it getting. He's set a high start though, so he obviously thinks someone will love it enough. Funny how there was quite a fashion for a big estate car in the mid-70s, despite the oil situation.

That'd quite probably go through an MOT more easily than my 604...

Don't know what this is, but it looks piss-poor. I would hit it (with a strimmer)

Bloody hell, for 10 euros? I would, like a shot! The 1980 Dodge Omni is a relative of the Horizon so beloved on here, and I actually have a couple of Hot Wheels models of this body type. :D

Does anyone here know if these are totally fucking ruinious to run?

I'm really tempted to lob a cheeky bid in it.

I imagine parts will be hard to get ahold of and I'm pretty sure Audi never put that 3.6 v8 in anything else, which could prove a problem.

I ran an Audi V8 as a daily for a few months, you can get 25mpg if you drive like a grandad, they are awesome. If owt breaks though, best to just leave it broken.

This is the only car i've had where i didnt fancy getting involved in fixing it!! However if you can find a Bosch-approved fettler they will be able to fix any running problems stood on their head.

***Edit: that one looks as nice as you will ever find!!! I think if i was flogging that I'd hold out for decent coin, like £2000 or so. Theres a few cheap ropey ones knocking about.

Not much chance of getting it for about £1200 then?

Arse!

Plenty of A8's knocking about for that money now. I had a 4.2v8 and I was just about crying when I sold it.

Here's a nice looking 2.8 Sport for £1395. Decent on fuel and not quite so mind meltingly expensive when they break as the 2.8v6 and autobox is in loads of other audi stuff.

I had one of those for a while, I love Fiats, but found it a bit shit really. Like a Marea with less doors. Huge letdown :(
