After some googling it looks like it's the m-series, which is an o-series with a 16v head. 120bhp apparantly.

It's here for £550 so they obviously had no takers or it's bust.

The 820 'E' has a toss single-point-injection M16 engine that is not found in owt else, and does not even get the mega shite points of the 8v O series with carb unfortunately. I think its engine ECU gets upset if you disconnect the battery as well though i may have imagined that.

I don't care about any of that. I was sold on the Rover Metro trims.

In other news, that Datsun 280C is one of the ones rescued from Holland recently, let's hope it goes to a good home. That muct be the single largest increase in the UKs Datto population since about 1985

But it was all so long ago.... Why does the TV nostalgia linger after all these years in a country so far away from the location of the stereotype? I had almost forgotten about the DOH, the A-Team, Magnum PI, Knightrider, S&TB, or any of these other horrid shows until I entered the world of Brit car forums. No question about the effing ijits here too. Just that our effing ijits lost interest in these shows a couple decades ago.....

 

 

Dukes pisses me off for the reason that they are responsible for the death of a lot of Chargers
