Wow, a 3-ltr Pinto eh? Thats a rare one.

The situation is I bought this car 3 years ago, right at the same time I started a major house renovation. I also have two other classic cars already and about to pick up a 3rd so need the room.

Are you one of these geezers that buys loads of shite, does nowt with it then flogs it on/abandons it in favour of a new project? I'm thinking YES.

Oh man, that Mitsuoka may have just made it onto my "Jap stuff I'd drive" list. It's hideous, and it's bound to have the standard, dull as ditchwater Jap generic dash.

But think of the Afro Wigs you could freak people with. Cheeseburger Elvis white jumpsuit, spangly pair of shades and a full on, ludicrous afro, bit of Teddy Prendergast on the old stereo and go pimpin' harlots at weekends. Got to be more fun than driving a proper SX.. Imagine drifting that thing into McDonalds in Aachen on a Saturday night. You'd be a national hero for the Belgian Corsa generation.

Actually, I don't think it's made the list. Yet.

This is tempting though.

German to English translation

Ford Sierra 2.0L DOHC 4X4 (Permanent four-wheel drive) combined

Since last Monday, Ford is put my beloved! (Cylinder head gasket over) (motor makes noise but no runs, yet!)

This is even more fatal, because I let him in August to repair have yet to extensively. (850,-EUR)

2 new front wishbones with subsequent wheel alignment.

Under floor was welded in 4 places consuming and sealed. (From What inter alia, even the tank had to!)

But this is not to say that the entire lower floor was re-sealed, sonern only the welded points.

First primer, then paint, then underbody protection.

The rubber mount from the right rear shock was replaced.

The rear drive shaft seals have been renewed for the first time.

The left rear brake has been repaired.

The right headlight was given a new glass.

New rear wiper blade.

New license plate light bulb.

New air filter.

New spark plugs.

Then new TÜV (4 months covered, ups!)

I wanted the car actually still take at least 4 years, now I'm tired.

I like him since 1995, I am the 2nd Owners. Got it was still expensive for 1200,-DM with an extensive

Rotating cavity sealing can be provided. (She has not apparently kept for so long!)

Who for example has the option to renew the head gasket yourself, get here for little money or a mobile

Pedestal, which may then receive even more in a few years his coveted vintage license plates.

(Head gasket is, for example in engine components Express for 72.23 EUR 5.90 EUR plus vers, including the 10 screws)

The car has an excellent road holding, steering the game is the same null.Hinter the rear bumper I have my

before many times an L-iron girders installed transversely, after I once had a touch but Pöller backwards.

(If a look, a truck roars back!) But hardly any traces left.

The Radläüfe I have from the beginning again brushed with underbody protection with herself, as a protection against falling rocks.

What was I tonusmäßig also treated again and again.

The consumption was mixed mode at about 8 0.7 to 9 liters, despite four-wheel.

Oil consumption minimal.Ventile must never be recreated, automatically goes through the hydro-ram.

The timing chain is maintenance-free, which keeps almost forever. The engine is in the trade as to the best of what Ford

ever built hat.Es 195er summer tires on it, still there are enough profile haben.Zusätzlich

Good-Year 2 very good to get one on wheels, the other near ohne.Es is currently prettier on hubcaps

Vehicle, which I recently still new in silver chrome finish with clear lacquer over it habe.Anschließend still looks really good!

The rear side windows and tailgate are covered with black sun protector, now.

The Panasonic Radio Recorder (4x35 watts) with alarm system (only for equipment's, not `s car), inkl.2 tycoon 2-way wall speakers

remains in it. (original price at that time about 500,-DM)

Interior designers: gray suede seats in good condition, no holes or stains.

The inclusion of the photograph, however, was already older, I think times recorded before approximately 8-10 years, at the Holiday

Cote d `To.

Now for the defects that a vehicle of this age just has:

The paint should be polished once. (I still have a corresponding color polish is there!)

Behind the right headlight is a fist-sized dent in the fender is.

In the right front door is a little pushed the plate, but really very little.

The left rear door as well, but if you `s not white, you can see it barely.

The glass sunroof over the past year I have sealed with clear silicone, it penetrated water, is open to not more so.

The sky is have a large area by the flooding a little spotty, but my father always used to say,

if you do not hinguckt, see `s not!

The grip of the glove box is broken, but can be easily opened with the car keys.

The art of leather gear knob is now unsightly.

The heated windshield worked from the beginning only on the right.

The antenna in the tailgate I've disposed of, was defective.

The cable, which lead to the tailgate by the frequent broken open and closed and removed from me.

In the tailgate, I had built-in speaker in it, which are expanded. But I like to give free to do so.

Here and there a few tiny paint touch-ups.

I think that was `s, I had forgotten something, it could be just little things.

Vehicle must be moved as there is considerable loss of oil.

The buyer can pick up your car in 40 629 Dusseldorf-Knittkuhl.

A package omitted on my part because I'm not such a big box!

I am here as usual is no warranty!

Bidder may bid like this for fun, as long as it still gives a longer offers!

If the price go over 500,-EUR, should we drink a bottle of delicious yet

Red wine together, promised!

The car must be picked up within 7 days after successful bidding for! Please!

And now enjoy mutual outbidding!

At the moment, it's on €2.72. Tempting.

This is massively floating my boat, but I think it'll fetch more than I'd pay for it. It's already close.

Remarkable, that marina van ended up selling for £4200!

 I wonder if the sale will complete?

Well, surprising to see a Marina going for good money, shite has moved on!

Posted

Would I be correct to assume the large selling price is down to it being a Marina Van? Remember that older commercials have a tendency to shoot up in value, of course there is every possibility someone has been bidding it up. £4200 seems like a massive amount to pay for it!

Bulgaria - where the uncles are great and the tat is top.

OMG RATLUK tip: buy that neighbouring twin and stick it upsidedown on your roofrack. €150.

€240 for this 49k km "weekend Honecker" looks like a whole lot of brown shite for the money.

Bulgaria is some kind of a Shangri La for Ladas. In fact, you could almost call it a "Shangri-Lada"!!!!!!!!! €230 for this one and there are quite literally 18 more of them on here.

€250. What an excellent shambles.

Laugh if you must, but you'll be glad of those bullbars when like a moth or a crisp packet or something blows across the road. €250.

€300. Buckets of these beauties, some of them total minters. (Also buckets of Renault 11s, for whatever reason, though I can't face posting any of them up. Probably still nursing the shame of the A-plate one I ran whilst existing on a diet of sweetcorn and baked beans - I literally impregnated the interior with such repellent odours that my wife ordered me to get rid of it.)

CASHBACK! There are evidently stacks of Moskvich saloons, but their appeal pales feebly away beside this wondrous vehicle. €360.
