100% OF THIS AUCTION IS GOING TO *** HELP FOR HEROS ***

they cant even spell the charity name correctly

i predict this will reach silly money - just like the ruined capri

Posted

Maybe they have registered a company called ***HELP FOR HEROS*** and will pocket all the cash themselves, or am I being cynical

Posted

I'm launching a charity called 'HELP 4 MORONS', basically I raise funds to buy train tickets allowing me to visit some of these ebay tards and push burning dog turds through their letterboxes, hopefully encouraging them to lead more wholesome (and less fucking thick) lives

Think you will have to do quite alot of fund-raising there Mr_B.

Suggest some meat raffles and sponsored walks to swell the coffers.

Posted

Look at the 'extras' on this old Hillman.

GR89 for hauling big theodolites. Get to it Pog!

Posted

Is that 'burg front-engined or are those the spare parts??

Posted

The former.

Couldn't they find a better place for the rad than flat against the bulkhead?

My first car was a 75 Wartburg!! Love 'em to bits, car's bursting with character. That one's super rare, most now seem to have come over from Germany.

Posted

Slightly scene, but I still would

Posted Image

I would an all! I think thats quite well done though personally I would have a bit of a gap between the white wheels and the white on the tyre itself. I like that though :)8)

Am I the only one who finds it ironic that the 'help for heros' brigade chose a German car as a base for this well thought out project,

Did they have to hide it that Sunday Germany beat us 4-1 and every true Englishman was out wrecking anything with a Bavarian badge on it?

Can you imagine a 'Euros for Luftwaffe Legends' or

'Deutschland uber alles' on a Montego countryman?

Early-ish Renault 6. Shame it's in southwest France. Still, if it stays at its current pricing level it may still make financial sense jumping on an Easyjet flight and making the heroic trek back up the length of France.

1990 Ford Sapphire 2.0i Ghia

"NEEDS GOOD POLISH".

So he buys it, slaps £400 on the price and couldn't even be arsed to polish it. What an arsehole.

Would guess that acclaim was belted coming out of a junction by something travelling at a fair lick and became eligible for a Fire Brigade cabriolet conversion.

I can't find that Maxi but there is a very savable looking 1100, just put Austin in the search engine. It's at Sandy, which IIRC is Bedfordshire.

Posted

Ooooh err, that Maxi has disappeared. It only went on the site yesterday I think. My link just goes to Copart homepage now?

Anyway, it was under the classic cars section this morning.

Posted

Its not there now, probably sold already - was it a stolen recovered one?

There is a lemon yellow 1977 LHD Lada with an LV badge (Latvia?) in the classic section now. Sadly group B, parts only. Rear ended quite severly.
