It may be completely fucked, but it's got the world's biggest passenger side wing mirror.

Sold for £3200! I bet the owner is pleased!

It's a cult car here. That price is a give-away price in the US marketplace.

Is it not the case these days that pretty much all used cars in the UK are give-away prices compared to the US now?

I'm absolutely astonished at used car prices in the US these days!

I'd like to know where it went wrong - it used to be so cheap over your way.

There's a term for those vans. You know a specific scene category for them that I can't remember.

Oh yes I remember now, it's shit.

For every brave importer taking a gamble there's a punter who has no shame....I love to see these examples of Japanese bad taste making it to these shores and turning up at shows, it makes a change from row upon row of grey and boring home market stuff and serves to remind us that the Japanese are human and can still make motoring mistakes just like "matt black rattle can man".

I can hear the woman in the reflection from here.

"How long will all these pictures take? It's cold. When can I get back in the car? Hurry up!"

"I'm so sorry, I was putting my lipstick on and got distracted by a nice black car. Why don't you get a black car? Sue's husband has a black car and he was sales rep of the month in January.

So you're fed up of rust and fancy something fibreglass, but obviously anything with a steel chassis will just be trouble too.

How about something with a fibreglass monocoque chassis? Like the original Lotus Elite in the late '50s?

Or a Midas

This one looks brilliant, it's a later car with the bulged wings like a Porsche 944 and it's a nice colour if those things matter. It's got a couple of issues, obviously.

1. It's in the Netherlands

2. It would be a long drive back in second gear as the gear linkage is missing

This one's a bit closer to home but it's an earlier one which I don't think looks as nice.

Yes, buy a car like this so you don't have to worry about rust!

Here's one I spotted on display at the Le Mans Classic last year. No idea why it didn't make the final set of pictures - but seeing the white DS23 for sale jogged my memory. The chop job on the rear deck of the UK gee-gee box has a whiff of Saab 96 Kombi around the rear lights, too.

I suspect the French version was used for cinematic purposes rather than filming Massive Bereavement's last run around the track before the UHU factory beckoned.

They are indeed Mk2 Cav. Started off using TR7 rear lights IIRC.

That chopped DS is awesome and I reckon an absolute steal at £2000. Good job I don't have £2000.

This was posted on Pistonheads, it's pretty good:

The "small fire" on the Pisshat is most likely a flywheel issue. My mate had a Skoda police car with that engine go up in flames on him.

The paint job I designed and painted by hand with the aim of accentuating the arches and giving the appearance of a wider front. I used a double coat of heavy duty drainpipe paint
The exit for feet has been blocked off.
