That's the twin of the one I had, that was written-off 20 years ago! (Except mine had the interior in black...) Even the rust is in the same places! Somebody grab it, it'll be a joy forev... well, for a couple of weeks anyway! If I wasn't so far away...

Edit: just realised it's a 1700. Maybe my 2.0 HLS merited a different spec interior...

^^^ You can always tell the sort of person that does that - but you can't tell them much.

Shirley you'd be forever banging your knee on that door edge when getting out?

That Austin 3-litre was sold at Auction for about £7,000 a few months ago. Someone is taking the p*ss.

The Charles Hawtrey as Ozzy van was definitely the best airbrush job! >

Here is some brief history of this ultra rare Tickford Metro 1.3 Automatic. It was bought New in October 1981 by a wealthy Norfolk lady for her favourite niece (The daughter she never had!) when she gained a place at college in London (Hence the automatic transmission). In London the niece saw a Tickford Metro and fell in love with the styling and told her auntie about it.

The old lady readily agreed to sending the Metro back to Aston Martin Lagonda Factory in the spring of 1982 where it got fully converted.

Did I say cool? I meant shit.

Has anyone asked the vendor of that Transit why he's used shin pads as mirrors? He should really slip them back in his socks as he must be due a good shoeing for creating something as vile as that.

Posted

Tranny van with The Grim Reaper all over it? Surely that's just a business opportunity for an 'alternative' hearse service. For people who can now breathe out, and admit they hated the bastard in the coffin all along...

It does however have a v8. Therefore a quick paintjob and we are back in the realms of win

ItalDesign Aztec. Google revaels a bit more of it:

Ital%20Design%20Aztec%20Barchetta%201992.jpg

Audi Aztec displayed at ItaldesignThe Aztec is a concept car introduced by ItalDesign in 1988. The two-seater is unique because the driver and passenger are separated, requiring the two parties to communicate electronically. It was fitted with a five cylinder DOHC 200 PS (147 kW; 197 hp) Audi Turbo engine,[1] and using Lancia Delta Integrale derived four-wheel-drive system.[2] Only 18 or 50 (different sources) of these cars were ever built,[2] recently[when?] the cars are sold for $75,000; a far cry from $225,000 they were sold for originally.

The designer, Giugiaro, also designed the Lotus Esprit and the Maserati Boomerang.

The car was featured in the 1990 horror film Frankenstein Unbound.

They look proper shit. They look like the cars I used to draw at primary school when me and a mate had our imaginary car company called 'Cobra Cars'.
