That Capri has a certain appeal - but at £3.500 should really be in the bargains thread. No tax and tatty round the edges makes it a £1000 to the right person at a guess or have Capri prices jumped?

The Pink on beige makes this look like a vile dessert served at one of Hyacinth Bouquet's candlelight suppers.

With the handpainted perriwinkles?

Prime autoshite, even says so in the advert title:

I always thought that generation of Toyota Crown was a bloody handsome car...

This Escort is quite remarkable, 1 owner from new, serviced every 3-4k and it's done an amazing 262000 miles on the original engine! Apart from the dirty seat it looks like new!

From the ad:

Car totally standard and original apart from 3x Additional Smiths instruments that were fitted when the car was new: battery condition, oil pressure, vacuum fuel efficiency.

More recently Waxoyled after some welding, new wings, restoration.

Or, indeed, most of their other offerings.

From page 1025:

That Mexico has a few of the 'right' bits on. 7x13 RS alloys, for example. The perspex windows and wrong interior will hurt its value a bit, but not to a rallyist.

I reckon it'll hit £3500.

3600 and rising...

This must be rare over here, a 1975 LHD, 2.3 V6 Swiss import, 1 lady owner from new and with PAS and AC, It was up for £2000 BIN but I've just wacked a bid on it, must be worth more then £2k?

This is my neighbours car , she is 92yrs now and the car has become too much for her hence the damage to the offside

Very hard to judge with the Capri, but I'd hazard a guess two large was probably about it's mark to be honest. Rare car and a real talking point but battered wing and not enough close ups of the bodywork won't help it's cause.

Here's a newsflash for you, I DON'T SPEAK FOR THE USA or "their offerings".

I would love a Chevrolet Citation with the 2.5 Iron Duke! It had such a memorable themetune, "it's a thoroughly contemporary driving machine, CHEVY CITAAATION!". Obviously, I'd prefer the 3-speed auto, but only because they don't do a 2-speed.

That is my proper address, living under a bridge is nothing to be ashamed of.

It's great that advert - I'm sure it would be getting passed off as a 62,000 miles 99% of the time

Erk! At least the two pairs of wheels at the back match slightly.
