Paging Autoshite based LT35 owners....

"Breaking" - and that ad is for the recovery bed only - checked the other items and you could just about buy the whole truck (in pieces) for £1750

PS, I fixed the brake caliper :D

Cor, that diesel jag looks ace. I bet it's horrific. Also I assume on jags of that era a decent interior costs ££££s.

Lucky it's not just down the road or anything.

300tdi, MOT 2012 and 6 months tax for £600. GR8 for when it starts snowing next week or whenever. Looks like like it has a few issues but none are life threatening.

You just don't see barry'd up Nova's like this anymore. Your modern barry expects fuel injection, airbags and cup holders for their MaccyD's xtralard coke.

Oh dear:

Hi their I am selling a Ferrari 360 replica unfinished project. Its made up on Peugeot 406, Year 1998. Mileage of the car 56,000 , its 3liter car v6 engine, Fuel: Petrol.

So the work left for this car work? Painting works, and Fitting everything again properly, and Mechanic works, Electric works.

So what I have dun so far? Well bought a Peugeot car, bought all the body parts from www.extreme-sportscars.com, apart from Alloy wheels and Seats.

Cut the Peugeot 406 and fitted on the car, So now everything has to be removed and fit properly.

Over the 2 years I have been doing this project, now I cant able to continue because of my finance.

So I decided to sell it of, if any one interested on getting this project and finishing it off are welcome.

So far I have spend:

Peugeot 406 Car: £2500

Ferrari Replica body Fully Kit: £7000

Fake Engine Kit: £600

labour charge for fitting and cutting the car: £2000

Garage Fee (Storage Fee £65pm)= 24*65 = £ 1560

Recovery 4 times moving garage extra = £320

Total= £13,980.00 I Spend so far more than this.

I am willing to sell this for final price with out any reduction £8000.00 NOT LESS THAN THIS.

LOL what a total shithouse. I suggest he auctions the fibreglass bits (some deluded chug nugget will no doubt pay £2500 for the benefit of storing them for years in the back of their lock-up, next to their disused mini-gym and home-brew demijohns) and weighs the rest. Then he can ponder on the fact that he's earned and spent enough to buy a real Ferrari, yet somehow his dream is now £12,000++ further away than it was at the start of the project.

This looks lovely and it's one of my all time favorite VW's, Another one for the bucket list.

I have not owned it for long and am sad to see it go, but I can not afford to run it back and forth between Swansea, Bristol and Norwich (also it does not easily fit my mountain bikes in).

Sounds like a case of "I thought it would be well cool to own a old skool Vee Dub but in the real world it's useless", No doubt he'll be buying a Golf Mk4 now instead.

To be fair if I had to do regular drives between Swansea, Bristol + Norwich I would not fancy doing them in that, it would destroy it (and me)

Posted

Yeah i agree but he says he's only just bought it so he must have been aware he had to do those miles in it so why buy the car in the first place?, Still £2500 is cheap for one of these.

That VW is great. Sincerely hope it avoids the OMG SLAMMIT N RATLUK brigade. Looks superb on tyres that actually have sidewalls.

The way the sunlight is falling on the plastic dinosaur behind this VW tells me all I need to know:

Just look at the bits the sunlight's falling on, not the bits in shade.

Verdict: Mentalist

I've obviously gone* dense. From that picture I deduce that it's sunny, and there is a plastic dinosaur with sun on it's head/back a bit.
