Is there a quicker way to watch your hard earned cash disappear in front of your eyes? In the Autoshite three card poker stakes this motor has the winning hand every single time: Laguna, V6 and Automatic...

I'd love to risk a punt on that Billy, just to laugh at my Bro in law who went and shelled out 3K the other month on an 04 plate 1.8 Laguna

'only one step down from the Cosworth'

'I have added another picture of a small crack in the rear bumper by the reg plate light and have been asked for pictures of the inner wings which I can not do as I don't have the time'

Oh right, well worth adding another picture of a relatively minor issue but you don't have time to take pictures of the inner wings? Anyone else thinking they'll be like teabags?

'one step' = GIANT LEAP

Laguna IIs are bargains... too good to miss. I've had four so far. One was £995, the next was £540, the next was £375 and my last one, a V6 estate just like that was £350. Only sold it because the Avantime arrived, wish I'd kept it, what a car!

Yes please :D

Aside from the colour (**) i like this, lots! (** if indeed it is as it looks to me, pink)

My dad had an old shape Simca 1300, OPC903D in dark blue lovely car, ashtrays in tha armrest and the seats were so comfortable....

If it's a 1967 1301 it would be a very early one would it not?

That "Howmanyleft" site has a lot to be answered for, Nearly every other advert i see now says "Last one left, only 14 left" etc.

this model is the last one remaining in england

WONG.

Those photo's were taken at the Saffron Walden car show last Sunday.

My step-dad had a red one of these Accords back in the 1980's - it was a nice car, as is this one. Not sure it's £2.5K nice, mind.

Also, the large woman you see sitting in the passenger seat was there for the whole duration of my visit - a good couple of hours

If you're in the market for a limp-wristed coupe, you could do a lot worse than this Korean STUNNAH

I'd love to drive this down the bypass and see if I could get it off the clock

I love these early RX7s, I went to buy one a loooong time ago, knowing that the compression can fail on rotary engines, easy way to spot this is they're hard to start. After 10 minutes with the owner cranking it over, it still hadn't fired up. I didn't buy it :(

I've got a soft spot for these dragster Mercs, they don't come up for sale too often and all are LHD

I very occasionally see one of these Fiesta Si things around, and if you want a purple hatchback, this could be just the thing. I've seen them with different wheels to this example but they look like a nice balance between the 1.1 Popular Plus and the XR2

I'm continually miserable at the prices of old Land Rovers. Here's one that doesn't have a VIN number or V5... it's not tax exempt so does that mean a Land Rover has been stolen and has the chassis plate from this one? :(

Minimal chequerplate and looks fairly straight, but what do you do with no chassis plate??

Discoveries are a bargain compared to Defenders, and they have a nicer interior which means it's more difficult to access the bits which break. And I think they rust more. But the early ones are yummy, as this 2-door shows.

Landrover Series II V8 Hybrid Tax Exempt

That means a Series 2 chassis plate and the rest is Range Rover / Defender

This is in my local rag today, Sound cheap if your a Renault fancier, I don't know what size engine these are though, 2.0 i guess?.

Edit - just looked on Wikipedia, It's a Volvo 2.5 20v engine!, and it's a bit of a special model...

Questor

Along with the Phase 2 Safrane, Renault also offered a Safrane variant called the Questor which also relied on the Volvo powerplants mentioned above. The Questor differs with the front grill having an extended silver piece around the Renault diamond and also factory fitted satellite navigation which is a Phillips Carin 520 with infra-red remote control. This model was also fitted, at least in the UK market, with all the options available on the car as standard...

Christ, I've just been reading up about that Safrane, it was £28000 when new! and they appear to have every single toy possible inculding electric leather seats, Climate Control and Sat Nav, Even I'm tempted now at £600 and I don't even need it!

I beg to differ. You own a Mondeo. Sell that, buy Safrane. Sorted!

Just tie her left shoelace to the seat runner, give her £50 and tell her there's a massive sale on at specialist handbags and shoes. She'll soon learn! ... Would work with my other half anyway...

It'll be a 2.5 20v from a Volvo 850 / V70 in it.

If mine was anything to go by it'll eat driveshafts for breakfast at £160 each trade. Piece of piss to fit though.
