The guy auctioning this posted it on oldclassiccar.co.uk. Same barn also contained a Morris Minor with 600 miles on the clock, which had been in an accident shortly after purchase and then just left lying around.

Laguna IIs are bargains... too good to miss. I've had four so far. One was £995, the next was £540, the next was £375 and my last one, a V6 estate just like that was £350. Only sold it because the Avantime arrived, wish I'd kept it, what a car!

I love these early RX7s, I went to buy one a loooong time ago, knowing that the compression can fail on rotary engines, easy way to spot this is they're hard to start. After 10 minutes with the owner cranking it over, it still hadn't fired up. I didn't buy it

 

I've got a soft spot for these dragster Mercs, they don't come up for sale too often and all are LHD

 

I very occasionally see one of these Fiesta Si things around, and if you want a purple hatchback, this could be just the thing. I've seen them with different wheels to this example but they look like a nice balance between the 1.1 Popular Plus and the XR2

I'm continually miserable at the prices of old Land Rovers. Here's one that doesn't have a VIN number or V5... it's not tax exempt so does that mean a Land Rover has been stolen and has the chassis plate from this one?

 

Minimal chequerplate and looks fairly straight, but what do you do with no chassis plate??

 

Discoveries are a bargain compared to Defenders, and they have a nicer interior which means it's more difficult to access the bits which break. And I think they rust more. But the early ones are yummy, as this 2-door shows.

SAVE A SCEPTRE! Someone has removed the engine and gearbox and is now punting out whats left for £200 BIN, It looks pretty tidy in the photos as well.

This is in my local rag today, Sound cheap if your a Renault fancier, I don't know what size engine these are though, 2.0 i guess?.

 

Edit - just looked on Wikipedia, It's a Volvo 2.5 20v engine!, and it's a bit of a special model...
