I'd love to get my hands on a Manta at the moment, or even a Mk1 Cavalier 2000 Coupe, If a nice one pops up for £1000 I might be tempted to do naughty things.

I did bid on the orange one but i knew it would have gone out of my price range, I think it was pretty decent value for just over £2k though.

In other news...

my late Father's Cavalier CDi Automatic. It has been kept in the family and driven by myself and brother for the benefit of my Mother. As she now resides in a Nursing Home, the family have reluctantly decided to sell the Cavalier

Wow look at this!, It's only done 10000 miles from new and has been on display in the orginial supplying dealers garage showroom since 1972!

This vehicle was originally supplied by us new in August 1956 and apart from ourselves it has only had one owner. We purchased the car back from the original owner on the 30th October 1972 and since this date the car has been stored away in our garage and unused for the last 39 years.

Wonder where that Ford Laser came from then?

I've seen plenty when I was living in HK.

Never seen one like that before. What is its alter-ego??? Look like Toyota Starlet wheels.

Pretty sure it's based on this series of 323:

Are a you a put-upon husband married to a house-proud nagging wife who likes to travel in style? Then this could be right up your street:

Yes! Even with a newer Rover 200 you can still look some eccentric Mr Trebus type who hates people with this honey of Seriously shite Rover 216SLi Auto:

Might not be too bad in reality, does have T&T and is at £250 with no bids. Seller also has a low miles Peugeot 309 dizzler.

That's surprisingly rust free.

Start price only £10 more than what I paid for mine when it was 6 years old back in 1992

Cavalier CDi Automatic.

Hey Trigger, you should definitely buy that Cavalier given it's so close to home.

I'd love to see it in another of your comedy home videos. Perhaps this time you could unintentionally knock it into drive as you're doing a close up of the door pocket or summert and accidentally run yourself over, Brian Harvey style. Worth it for the lols, I reckon.

Never liked those pedal covers either. The Coupe / Quattro shape is one of Audis finest moments but A2A has put price estimations up in most sellers eyes

Is that the Cortina that Billy was giving the full Barry Bulsara stalking treatment to?

Posted

FUCK!

What was the OB on when they specified that Cortina interior? It makes the applejack tweed of watanabe_father's old Mk2 Cav look relatively sober.

:lol::lol::lol:

It must be the same one from R-R. Looks like someone had bought it to make a few quid on as the (former) owner pm'd me on Tuesday night to say it had just been sold. Good luck to the current seller though, enough people had the chance to buy it.

Now, how about this 'funny' and 'original' three wheeler then?

No. Wasn't too happy with vague 'cam belt changed in 2009' malarkey and when questioned he didn't know if the variator was last changed or the mileage when the cam belt was done.

I'd love one of these but it'd have to be so cheap that when the engine imploded two days later I'd see the money back in scrap plus a few choice parts removed.

In their defence, while it's certainly not original, at least they've bothered to use the right van, most of these knobbers use Rialtos or Robins.
