I've seen this lots of times at local shows, It really is a thing of beauty.

I first saw this on your photo set on flikr and I really do like it if you sell your MKIII (which looks in amazing condition) would you be tempted by this? I have to say im tempted myself as im considering adding another car to the fleet but I have my eye on another MKII. This L model is quite unusual as its an early car (1975) so has vinyl seats (most L's had cloth) also a rare colour, it'll probably end up being some sort of RS wannabe and trashed, if I had the space/cash i'd buy up as many of these original MKII Escorts as I could and store them.

Heres some more of the car:

I agree Mr. Pit it is lovely, A bit frilly around the edges but that just adds to the charm and originality of it, Personally i think it will sell for more then it's worth, I remember it wasn't long ago you pick one up like this for less then £500.

I still haven't decided what to do about replacing the Escort, I'm meant to be saving money and don't really need 4 cars but I could be tempted by something with a bigger engine if i find a car at the right price, Preferably one with a MILF sat on the T-Bar like this. 8)

That Astra is lovely.

Why is it when you have no money/space/have just bought a car (all three apply to me) that suddenly e-bay becomes full of

want! :?

I never knew they made a Passat VR6, This one quite funny though, It's covered a massive 174000 miles and the starting bid is £700 which seems high to me, Check out the sellers logic.

Edit: 21/07/11 - Increased starting bid due to lots of interest.

Another one that's local to me, A fully loaded 2002 166 V6 with low mileage in red for £995 or best offer, What a car for the money!

I am off work with depression at the moment, but literally laughed till I cried at this one.

Thankyou, thankyou.

For similar moments of hilarity I recommend typing 'Trike' into the search box at every possible opportunity...

Thanks Trig! I now remember discussions about this bloke on here before. I'm going to message him about the Princess.

and here it is!, I saw it less then a hour ago outside the pub, It has a price of £2650 in the window which sounds like a lot of money for one of these but I wouldn't know, It is very clean and tidy though.

Nice one Trig, I've been checking every day waiting for it to appear!

I did message the seller and got a bit of info but didn't ask what he wanted. TBH I expected it to start about 2k and its too dear for me. I would probably have £1500 for it but no more. I'll wait and see if it sells.

The mint ambassador ended today, £1000 start- no bids- reserve not met. Might be worth an email but its on Car and Classic for £2200  Maybe he has had a reality check?

Let it be known, I WANT A PRINCESS :D

Check out this super-shite us-spec xr4i, sorry Mercury Merkur. It's not even got a v6 instead it's got a 2.3 turbo'd pinto making less power than the 2.8. Nice work lads.

Putting my bobble hat on, I *think* it was one of these that Andy Rouse raced in the BTCC...

Yes - Tbe Merkur was successfully raced prior to the introduction of the Sierra Cosworth.

Audi Super 90 currently in Kirbys breakers, Rochdale, Essex. ;) (someone save it, think they want £750?)

SOMEONE has to save this thing, it's bloody marvelous! And a bit of a bargain really, considering what the VAG boys will pay for stuff like this

saw the humber last night and am thinking about seeing if Sam can go and check it out for me

I vaguely know Pete Vine (PV cars) as we use the same MOT station. He supposedly retired a couple of years ago.Judging by the photos those cars are at the back of "purrfect motors" forecourt in Fengate, Peterborough. This used to be the site of PV cars but the workshop area where those cars are parked is fenced off.
