That 305 is lovely, and judging by the Chevette and gold Acclaim in his yard he obviously appreciates the finer things in life 8)

That guy is dodgy I reckon, he's always 'just closing his ebay shop' then he reappears again after a week with a new eBay user ID but the same old motors for sale

Posted

He's got a stable/workshop to let, Mr_B. GR8 4 racking up mileage between Crewe and Doncaster.

I've seen that 15.

The current owner -a garage mechanic (with full 4 post ramp facilities at home)- intended to weld it up.

I think it might be a little worse than he expected...

3K seems insane for a fezza, no matter how nice. I didn't think the OSF tax had hit them that hard yet

Posted

£3k does seem a bit steep. I reckon it'll probably get between £1700-£2100 though if there's someone out there who'd want a mint Mk1 Fizzy.

The "Old Skool Ford Tax"* doesn't tend to apply to stuff like poverty spec Fiestas as there's not a huge number of people out there who rate 'em. It's the same with 1.8 / 2.0 / 2.3 Granadas, 1.3 / 1.6 Cortina Mk3/4/5s etc, they weren't much fun so why would you want one? **

I'm a bit of an old Ford apologist, but I wouldn't pay more than £500 for that Fizzy as I don't want it, and don't have a better one that needs a shell.

* I don't think it's a tax when it's applied to Mk1/2 2dr, good spec Escorts.

** Other than Autoshiters...

Here's a couple more photos of it, and i got the price wrong... It's £3500. :shock:
