No.

I was browsing leboncoin.fr last night, initially looking for Ami6 saloons. Unfortunately they all seem to be either completely shagged or concourse jobs going for thousands - there doesn't seem to be owt in between. So I cast my net a bit wider, and I now have a James May-style tingling behind my gentleman's area for this:

It's 15 miles from Calais, and the lack of any trim-level badging on the back is leading me to hope that it's the 602cc version. I've emailed the seller - if it's still for sale (ad was posted in late June) and it's the 2CV engine I feel a foot-passenger ferry crossing coming on...

It's not a two pot vesion I'm afraid. They were all badged LN.

Noticed it Wuz- but thanks.

Too much-too far, really. Otherwise ideal.

But- if you spot another - a bit closer/cheaper....

1984 Toyota Camry

This looks very nice for someone, maybe spottedlaurel seeing that it's in Suffolk?

It's definitely a 652cc one- you really do need one in your life (assuming it's a good'un, that is). :)

Just to help:

[anorak]

LN= 602cc ('76-'79)

LNA=652cc ('78-'86)

LNA 11= 1124cc ('82-'86)

Courtesy of Leboncoin again, there's a chap not too far from Calais selling a Tomcar, which as far as I can work out (no pictures on the ad) should be one of these:

Does anyone have a pressure washer I can borrow? I practically have permission from Mrs WorldofCeri to bid on this:

Luckily, I'm not quite that mental.

Nice low mileage one owner Nova saloon in the spares section. I'm almost tempted to have a punt myself.

This seems cheap as chips. £350.

Interestingly, my wife once went to this dealer on spec, looking for a cheap car, was shown a dismal Hyundai Atoz for £999 or something and told "you won't get anything decent for less than a grand".

A 3.0 QX was the chariot of choice when the ZXOC went curry hutning at Z009. Most comfy, swift cars they are. I'd rock one of I had the monies.

/\/\/\ That's lovely. One of the mechanics at my local Vauxhall dealership drives a scabby 1600 mk1 estate - I need to get pictures of it.

Unique opportunity to acquire a part built SeaRoader with

nearly all of the parts to complete!

Nearly all the parts, eh? Tempting....

So this is a military version, obviously a bit stripped out so that should help it float. Is that a rope? Is it being towed out??

The civilian version looks a bit better in the water. GR8 4 SCARIN AMPHICAR OWNERZ

But a bit awful on land :roll:

So 6 grand for something that obviously doesn't go, perhaps won't work when it's finished and looks _pig_ ugly.

I'm just surprised that none of us has bought it already 8)

I think we've had this before but it's still worth posting again due to it's awesomeness.

1979 Vauxhall Chevette GL

1987 MG Metro 1300

I could think of worse ways to spunk £650.

I saw the Lada van on the bay last month, guess the buyer has let him down then..........
