Can't remember seeing one of these for sale on ebay before, It's taxed and tested as well and is that a Wartburg in the driveway?.

 

Looking on google streetview he also has a Lada Riva and a Lada Samara!

No. No, I don't. That actually makes me want to hunt down the owner and kill him, violently. Honestly, what an utterly diabolical thing, I bet he could cause pregnant women to instantly abort just by driving past them. Is it supposed to be a pi55-take on 'trendy' rods, because it doesn't even work on that level? For some reason, I'd hate it very slightly less if he properly sprayed it red or yellow, and maybe airbrushed a picture of a seahorse on the bonnet... I'd hate it a LOT less if he pushed it into a quarry and set fire to it.

Checked out the location aswell, there is a Black Skoda/Tatra/Wartburg???? parked on that road aswell.

Quite a nice shape apart from a bit of a clumsy arrangement between the square rear of the hardtop, and the curved louvres at the back. He hasn't got a clue what it is though.... 1303s were the curved-screen 1972> models, this is a '66. If it was a 1303, it wouldn't be a 1600. It has a flat screen.

 

I'd be fairly interested in restoring that to how it used to look though.

Flat top Beetle is of its era. Very much reminds me of one that I think was in the first issue of Street Machine I bought in '88.
