Both Douglas. The shiny 'ring'  is the flywheel! LT is London about 1919.  CE is Cambridge probably about the same year.

The reg on the BSA is MK, London August 1925 to September 1926.

The bike could be an S, H or L25. My guess would be an H25 as it has a chair connected.
