Many cars back then had the very best allocated registration numbers. Both the MG and Escort don't come up on DVLA so their registration numbers may have been scrapped with the cars in the '70s/early '80s.😢

I guess the whole area was flattened in the 70s or 80s I'm assuming then? No traces of the houses showing now. I see the old factory site is being replaced with 26 storey flats 😲.

Yeah, I think they went in the latter part of the '70s. Amazingly, King Kong still exists in a garden in Penrith.
