Ok, here is my entry. It is a Proton Impian.

I reckon its a good looking motor. Rare as anything too.

Future Hirst cabs fleet surely?

Nissan Tiida. Drove one the other week. Not bad considering.

That Corvette gets about.

I like these Smart Roadster/Roadster Coupes, there is something appealingly shite about them - only made for a few years, flawed in a lot of ways but still fun to drive. When I had better cashflow I often dreamt of buying one.

When they were racing in the BTCC,I saw about the same amount I've seen on the road since

Yes - amazingly, one overtook me on the M3 a couple of months back. Old couple in the front, perhaps the husband was a retired Hyundai dealer principal.

Anyway, what about...

Regardless of your feelings relating to this generation of Vectra, at least the regular estate has (pretty damn impressive from what I've seen) practicality on it's side.

SOZ 2 B a smart arse but isn't that a Signum?

They have a worse rep than Vectras by the way!

It is a Signum. And it is more pointless (and therefore more useless) than a Vectra hatchback or estate, ergo it is futureshite. Although the only redeeming feature is the rear legroom is pretty good, due it being built on the Veccy estate (113" wheelbase) platform.

Now for the pinnacle of Australian Shite. The Mitsubishi Magna.

It looked like this. A bit bland, but plesant to look at, easy on the eye.

Posted Image

But then Olivier Boulay got his crayons out, and gave it a 'The Joker' makeover.

And for those who wanted luxury, 'real' wood trim

Suzuki Verona (don't ask me what Daewoo this is cobbled from, but it did have a transverse 2.5 inline 6 with a whopping 155bhp)

Posted Image

Cadillac XLR, underpowered and overpriced Cadillac badged Corvette (without the super V8 though!). The Allante of the future.

Posted Image

Ford Focus Coupe, the fourth iteration of the Mk1 Focus.

I can haz minivan?

Buick Lacrosse (yes, there was an optional V8 version for this front wheel drive car).

Posted Image

Subaru Baja abusively overpriced Brat knock off.

Posted Image

Dodge Magnum (you know it as the Chrysler 300C Touring. Actually good to drive. Ours were only available with 250 bhp V6 and 340 bhp V8).

Mate of mine works in a garage and had an Impian in for some work. He took it for a "test drive" afterwards round some local back roads and apparently it was amazingly good to drive - not hugely fast in a straight line but with handling and steering that would be completely wasted on the vast majority of octogenarian Impian owners.

Subaru Baja is quality, I would love one. It's a shame they didn't do a more workmanlike version for a direct Brat/MV/284 replacement though.

Correct Cavette.

THIS is a vectra estate. Spot the difference

*edit* Just realised I never looked at page 2

Still shite though.
