Got the insurance sorted. Fucking premium's gone up by £90 though - that's the difference between a WA14 and M33 postcode, and the 'fact' that Sale is some kind of zombie ghetto according to the underwriters.

 

Also, I'm gonna pack in my Retro Cars subscription. I'm just not enjoying the issues any more. In almost every case the cover star is some old boy's P&J bought by some daft twat in the right place at the right time and then fucked up with some stupid wheels and \ or ride height - and then somehow by ruining a really straight car the owners are lauded as heroes.

 

OMG BUT THE OWNER GET'S IT ITS HIS CAR HE CAN DO WOT HE WANTS, etc etc zzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz racing Nash Metropolitan was admittedly rather cool.

 

I'm still not convinced though. Someone talk me out of it.
