I was talking about this at work on Tuesday, those pair of twats in the morning this week have been unbearable to listen too, I'm not a fan of female morning DJ's at the best of times, Vanessa Feltz was also a poor choice on the BBC, Ken Bruce is excellent, and his Pop Master show is still one of the best on radio.

 

Jeremy Vine is also good, ok so some of the topics can be a bit boring but he plays some great music (he plays a lot of Fleetwood Mac and Pink Floyd) and it's always funny when a row kicks off between too callers, the best was some wack job claiming aliens was going to take over the world, he had to cut him off in the end.

 

Steve Wright loves the sound of his own voice and keeps singing over the songs which bug me and that Lifestyle Guru, Barry From Watford is just awful, why he feels the need to let that twat on the radio I'll never know.

 

Simon Mayo on the drive home is also excellent, I can't fault him, The confessions can be very funny sometimes as well, The only other show which is also good is the dark lord himself, Alex Lester, he also plays some good music but most people never hear him as he's only on from 2am to 5am.

I dont understand, she was keen as anything before, I havent been bombarding her with messages, haven't done anything weird/stupid yet.

I have a dilemma, I have a chap hopefully coming tomorrow to view and hopefully buy my Kadett, now there's two cars on ebay finishing in the next hour which i want, the beige Mk1 Granada Coupe and a red Amazon 121 both of which at the moment are well within my under £3000 price range.

 

Now do i bid and win and hope that the Kadett now sells or just suke all evening. hmm...

I really am the laziest person I know when it comes to car repairs. The other day I visited my well equipped workshop that I'm happy to pay for to fix the loose undertray on the CAVCRAFT Escort as it's not a warranty item. I went to the workshop. Looked at the tools. Talked to the neighbours. Made a coffee. Walked away without doing anything.

 

The only time I'll do anything is when I absolutely have to like the power steering pump on the W124, even then it depresses me. It pissed me off so much having to replace it I even texted Simon Mayos' Three Word Tuesday with the words "PAS pump fucked" but I was so pissed off under the bonnet I never heard him read it out.

 

I really need to get my arse in gear.

Cheers, I'm hoping there is some kind of reason for it. She was happy as larry when she visited and we were in contact every day for about 3 weeks after she went back, we were planning my visiting there etc. Now nothing. I know she was a bit stressed as she had got into 2 unis and couldn't decide which one to go to (!) and then had to stay at her parents as she couldn't find a flat with her mates.

Thanks for the re assurance chaps. I am a bit miserable about it!

I assume that she still lives there? I split up with a girl a month ago as she lived 60 miles away in Hull as it was too far to form a proper relationship.

 

I went out with Czech lass once, BARUSKA! (Or Barbara in English apparently) Born on the same day as me, and crashed my GT6 into a kerb pissed. She was working over here as a nanny and did not have a great grasp of the English language. Enough to get her by but not ace. After her first day looking after the kid she had tidied the house and Vacumed. However when the kids dad came home and asked what she had been doing all day. Her answer was 'I hooker'. I think she meant 'I Hoover'. The leaning over clasping her hand pulling back and forth to try illustrating 'Hookering' did not help the issue. It was resolved eventually though and she kept her job (I never asked how).
