Fuck is going on with things like dental care in this country?

Called for an appointment earlier because I have a broken tooth and am in pain. I haven’t been to a dentist for a few years because I’m very lax with this type of thing, so they’ve deregistered me. 

They can re-register me and book me an appointment 🎉

Try going through 111. I had a tooth abscess that was giving me grief to the point painkillers weren't touching it, had an icepack permenently attached to my cheek just to try and calm the swelling/pain. Went through NHS 111 and managed to get to see a dentist the same day, inc a tooth extraction......total cost? £25! Seems they have to help if its painful enough 🫣

Only thing that makes me nervous about this is that I’d rather they fixed it than pulled it and I don’t think you get much choice in an emergency 

I have a Greek friend whose brother is a very good dentist in Greece, I might be booking a flight soon!

Depends where it is.  My dentist spent years trying to allow me keep a tooth that was beyond repair really. Root canal work, 2 different caps. In the end he took it out. And said to let it calm down. And "Them we'll see what we can do" 

Its been 7 years. Its near the back at the top. Nobody would know. I dont notice. 

I'm not about to let anyone try to bridge the gap.
