I know, it's crazy isn't it? If they didn't rip people off they'd make as much money as people would buy genuine.

Still it does need them, after 108k & being used all year it's a bit tired. This is it's 3rd fuel filter though, damn things.

Grump 1. I've lost the only key to the Rover 214.

Grump 2. They have replaced the street light outside with an LED one, so instead of nice orange glow there is a small pool of can't see anything bright light and the rest is darkness.

Just think how much your council tax will come down next year though, with the reduced electricity usage the bills will be tumbling.......

Off to Barnsley in a 14 plate golf. No suspension, no sidewall on the tyres so every micro change in road surface is coming through the hard seats!

But not our car, so meh

Note to self:

Don't order replacement parts when you're pissed off and upset about an accident you've just had.

Not going into details because I'll end up tearing a new one off the usual suspects if any sanctimonious comments are made.

Pot for Subaru has just been decimated. CHEERS LIFE.

I'm boring the passengers, passed trowell services, oooh that's the first place I stopped after collecting the xantia. Just gone past bolsover, oooh that's where my car lived once!

22 miles to go, the radar cruise is annoying the driver and all our arses are numb. Going to find a Costa for a rolly and coffee

We found the mode button and turned off sport, which has made it a much nicer place to be! I'm in the front now, and the seats are horrible

The words and actions of some world leaders have made me too angry to do my fucking job right now.  I don't need to go into details, the reasons for my rage are there on news outlets for all to see, and I know this isn't the place for politics but FOR FUCK'S SAKE!**

**note, not FFS of this parish, so far as I know they're not to blame.

As above, but not anger. Just sheer fucking despair and bewilderment at the idiocy and corruption going on.

But do said words & actions, or their (immediate) consequences, directly affect you and/or your friends and family? I know it sounds glib, and anyone with the vaguest sense of decency would be appalled, but you need to tune out a lot of this stuff otherwise you'll be permanently on the brink of vein-bursting ulcer-forming Barney-style apoplexy. If the world's going to end (it is) then it's better to spend the last few years/months/whatever in a state of semi-ignorant bliss.

Hey, I passed not from Barnsley today. Had to drive from Lowestoft to Bolton in a 15-plate Honda Jazz. I'm off to Doncaster tomorrow from Bromsgrove then back again.

Got pissed off with work today. I usually like to be home twice or three times a week despite thier efforts to keep us away from Mon-Fri. They managed to keep me well away from home by keeping me in Norfolk/Essex/North West London all week. Due to some seriously bad planning, my plan to come home last night didn't work so I ended up staying in Lowestoft with a mate and fellow driver/Brummy.

Today, they tried to keep me up in Cheshire after changing my job, told them to lob off, once I'd delivered an LWB Iveco van to Winsford, I was off home for the night, hence they changed my job again and got me B'grove-D'caster-B'grove. Nice little earner too.

Jon - Sorry to hear about this. Hope all is Ok chap. Let me know if you need anything.

They do, that's why I'm so angry.  They directly affect me, my friends, my business and my family.

If they're not angry, they're 'offended'.

Go on then, why?

I don't like the way this is going. Can we drop it?

Aye, I have a feeling it would be best to let it lie.

Vulg, not sure what the latest thing is but beware those reporting who will miss represent and twist things to their own ends, things may not be as they seem.

In circumstances like this I find avoiding Facebook and not having a television is the sensible option.

I know it's probably best to drop it but it's a very cryptic Facebook type post and i can't see anything obvious on the BBC news website that anyone in England could get that worked up about. Or am I missing the obvious?

Posted

1. Despite overtaking me on the way home, giving plenty of room, with nothing coming towards driver of the black bmw3 series slowed down to shout " get off the fucking road" out of his passenger window. Quite where he thought I should be is a mystery as there is no pavement, let alone a bike path. Anyway passed him in the half mile queue of traffic later and laughed at him on the way past.

2. Bt instant on line support. I need to increase my direct debit payments to clear the outstanding £20 on the account. Can they tell me how to do this as bt website can't? Can they heck. They said I need to pay off the outstanding amount and then change the amount. I told them there's no need to change the amount if I pay off the current figure. Then they said they needed it transfer me to another department. My dinner was ready at this point so I told them not to bother, we'd already had 45 minutes of scintillating email messages by this point.

Bt will now likely double my dd payments next quarter that I will need to reduce, whereas if I'd been told how to go from £36 to £40 a month it would have sorted itself out in six months.

Oh, and my new polished perfect o/s front wing picked up a stone chip despite me only driving sixty miles since it was out of the paint shop. Oddly not on the side but right on the top panel. I give up!

So does not being an alt right condescending twat.

I'd just leave it Richard, there's no need to escalate any of this.
