My mum keeps her cars in the garage, so it was unusual that her old Astra was outside in 2012. I know it's the old one as it's not green

I was on Google earth when I was loading up a cement mixer last year, but it’s now changed to me trying to start my spares V5 golf in Autoshite fashion, so I could get it up around the side of the house and under a tarpaulin that smells of cat piss lol.

I did get papped a while back, I think I was going back to work after checking on my dogs at lunch.

Here are some action shots from back when I was driving something that was actually in decent condition:

A few shots of my old 407 in happier times. This is where the Jag is now. Don't know who the Aygo belonged to, I suspect it was someone who worked nearby. The VW van thingy was a rusty old thing owned by some new-age types who lived in the white building behind it, that is part of a private car park that I'm not allowed to park in.

Mother_Sterling's old Micra when not long after it got punted into sharing a driveway with a terminally rusty Mk3 Fiesta and a Talbot campervan both owned by a very old lady whomlet me park on her driveway for a while. By now Ma was using the recently scrapped roffle Micra. This Micra makes another appearance on Google Maps and is currently parked up in my lock up.

My BMW in happier times too. Looks like I'd just washed it. I think it was parked here when I went abroad. I absolutely miss that car, loved it.

The recently scrapped K11 roffle win, when I had it for a bit:

And when it was back with Mother_Sterling;

Another appearance of the blue Micra, taken just before I moved to where I am now and when it was in regular use. The tosser in the Focus was a nasty twat from Bristol who briefly lived/owned the house next door, he fell put with a few of the neighbours.

Same time and because of Focus twat, here is my old Merc S124 parked a couple of doors up on a mate's driveway. I still have it's front number plate:

Seems to be a running theme here with the "oh so reliable' Honda engines.

This, below, appears to be the earliest shot of any vehicle I have driven/owned. It's my Rover 827Si (F852 COG) which was oddly another car repatriated to the West Midlands from East side of England (the other being my current Jag X308) the Google car didn't bother going down the road for another 2 years.

Belgium;

The only time I've seen a car owned by Fatha_Sterling on Google Maps, it was pictured here;

Screenshot_20241211_145039_Maps.thumb.jpg.11e82339709f31cf70453edb577c77ae.jpg

Screenshot_20241211_145055_Maps.thumb.jpg.aacc03dbc57ccf20b3cc770ca1c5ecb4.jpg

It normally lived in the private underground carpark that is allocated to Fatha_Sterling's apartment, but as he pops in and out, he often leaves it outside unless he has nothing else to do or overnight he'll park it in the garage.

I had briefly forgotten about this!

I think my cars also appear outside my house, with me sitting in the Vectra getting ready to leave.

Ooh, this is exciting* - the Google car obviously came past mine in August for the first time in about 13 years:

The previous photo still had my old Skoda Estelle on the drive..

The bay bush has grown a tad* since then.

And how it looked last time Google came by:

Fortunately I don't feature in any of these.

There's 2 pics of my old Corolla on street view, first one is from Nov 2020 (iirc after i got the door and sill replaced and fixed and returned it to service after 6 months of hibernation - still started on the first turn of the key amazingly) and is from a distance (it auto changes to a earlier date if you try going closer)

Screenshot_20241211_013211_Maps.thumb.jpg.4de605b8b48d5a949e4b9e45466afc6a.jpg

The second however is from March 2022

Ah, old reliable in HD! Doesn't look as scruffy as it was here, I must've washed it xD

I replaced it 3 months later with the 11 plate astra, that didn't hang around long enough for the Google vans to capture it (not sure if they came during 2023) and the BMW is yet to be caught on camera, however it's  parked up until the new year in a prime position in case they do come!

I thought I'd already been through the service history of my 75 and checked out Street View at previous addresses to see if I could spot the car but I'd missed this one in Edinburgh.

The first picture must have been right after he'd bought it.

Screenshot_20241211_071101_Maps.thumb.jpg.4f7058a8a0abe0e5a333c649a05304e5.jpg

...and a couple from later in the year.

Its definitely my car as its a rare spec, the address matches and a few years later theres a for sale sign outside the house which corresponds with the history. There's also a few other cars in the drive which indicates a car person lived there which I know he is.
