makes it even better that i technically and knowingly ordered the wrong kit! i ordered the kit for the digital AC but i'm not that posh so i have extra pieces i will never use

Can't be depressing if you like and enjoy it man. Imagine spending that much on a car you didn't even like or own. Like some bran-munching trouser-lord tied into a 3 year pcp deal with an optional* 7 grand ballon payment at the end.

i had to do it, as i say i couldn't see it die

sometimes i get a bit pissed with him, but then i just look at the front end at that goofy face and i can't hate it

i wouldn't even know what to get on PCP anyway, nothing really seems any good for me

I had some wood stuff in an old Isuzu Trooper. It was an RS model which was full of the options. 
It looked like werthers originals had melted on its dashboard. It didnt look anything like wood. Grim, but essential to the overall experience.

for some reason it's suddenly started feeling an awful lot faster than before, nothing has changed which is what confuses me

at the same time it's also running better and quieter than i can ever remember

i have a feeling it's decided to be super french.....this doesn't make any sense

Annoying misfire and hiccup when pulling away solved! Trying the cheap stuff first, I cleaned the MAP sensor with some MAF spray - no joy,  so I replaced that with a new Boschone. Then read that the coil packs on these can go, and at 80k mine was probably overdue.

Got a new Delphi one - cost a bit more than the unbranded ones on Ebay.

Pulls like a train now - better than ever during my ownership -and no OBD2 codes showing. Happy days

todays "fucking around" involved this spray

and spraying tons of it down here

but i now have a gearbox that mostly goes into 1st easily!

hopefully won't have it refuse to go into 1st, of course in heavy traffic when i need to quickly move off and embarass myself

but it feels tons better, i mean it's still vauge but that's PSA gearboxes for you

still nothing seems to have broke since may! which is a new record

keep an eye on this thread on tuesday, something completely ridiculous is happening

My gear linkage just under the gaiter can be very clanky if rushing. Wondering if the linkages in there need some thick goo to quieten them a bit? They all work fine, and the gearstick moves into the right place, just a bit noisy when shifting. Perhaps they all do that? Is there a thick spray grease? I seem to remember something I used that thickened up as it dried - but that was years ago.

i believe there should be something thick enough to do that

mine can also be quite clanky too and absolutely hates being rushed ........well seems to hate being touched at all

The gear change in my 307 is awful, it has tons of play. I think this is due to wear in the cables, apparently a common feature on the 307. Does the Picasso also suffer like this?

almost goes back to the neutral position if it's in 1st,3rd and 5th but it never pops out of gear so i'm going to assume it's fine

Well, just got home from the garage........

for some suspension work

PROPA SICK INNIT BRUV etc sort of work

here's before, notice how his beak is stuck up in the sky.......looked comedic but started to annoy me

and this is now, all normal and the rear doesn't look broken!

25mm lower and the ride/handling is actually far better than before, i'm very very happy with this

hmmmmmm red so that means the springs are reeaaaallllllyyyyyyyy ffaaassssstttttt!!!!

sure i know this is ridiculous, but that's why i did it

ah yes, in the wonderful town of billingham today......upon entering a typically brutalist concrete 60s car park i got a nice BANG followed by a scraping noise

yes indeed i have torn off the undertray, well it looks to have mostly survived and it doesn't fit properly anyway so no real harm done

going to modify it (cut it in half) soon so i can just have it at the front to protect the belt from debris

but look how cool i am, down with the kids etc with the hipping and the hopping in my slammed innit bruv vehicle

i have a friend, a singular friend who took this photo of me being foolish

I was just talking to my mate yesterday, when we were driving down the Metro Centre multi-storey and mentioned when we had cars that used to scrape the splitters etc on the ramps lol.
