so im not the only one to remember it :)

sadly I never found out any more about it

but its on my hit list of Model 70's to track down and personally inspect/find once Im on the road with REV, so I can just personally go and drive to wherever it is and personally investigate it, that way I dont have to worry about wasting someone elses time looking for it etc

(somewhere in pembrokeshire among a bunch of other rusting chod IIRC)

well I say Model 70, it could be a Model 67 for all I know!

if anyone does have anymore details about its whereabouts etc please let me know!

Invacar

If it is lightbulbfun will make him go back with a strimmer

My guess. A beige montego. With a roofrack, zebra pattern seat covers and a bent coat hanger aerial.

But on closer inspection of the pic, I think an MG Midget with a hardtop

Ok it would appear im thick i didnt realise i could click on the pic and then enlarge it. Id like a serious guess now i can see something blue. A beetle? In a similar shade to invacar blue?

Sure as hell isn't an SUV or modern 4x4 shite, it would never have got off the pavement.

A pre-production model of the Horsey Horseless.

You see, they were struggling to get it completely horseless and some of the pre-production models needed to graze for a while.

An invalid car of some description.

on a more serious note

if im looking at the right part of the picture

then it could well be a Harper Mk6 or Stanly Mk7

(the above is the only known surviving Stanly Mk7 and it went to ian hellings in the US, so sadly left the country)

A propos of nothing, I'll have a stab:

Citroen BX. And just because I feel lucky, is it a 16-valve?

I'd agree with Dannyk, looks like a VW beetle with the engine cover slightly open.

I refuse to believe you didn't look at my post history to get that. Yes :)

Well if it is a BX, and the pram handle suggests it is,  it will be rusty as fuck underneath if its been in a field for long enough to become swamped with brambles.

Rear inner arches, front inner arches, front door shuts, rear door shuts and outriggers will be lovely and crusty I wager.

You may be right about the rust but you're wrong about the brambles. That, my friend, is one year of bramble growth.

Herefordshire brambles don't fuck about.

I never look at post histories. I'm not that obsessed.
