That XR3i has the early-spec font on the bootlid badges as well as the early spoiler.

Eddy, we seem to have a frighteningly similar taste in cars. I wonder whether this extends to Whiskeys. I suggest some experimentation is in order. Solely for scientific reasons, I must stress.

Point A: yes, we do, don't we?  No bad thing, it's nice to know there's another loony out there somewhere...

Point B: experiment away, feel free.  This is one I won't be joining in, I'm afraid.  Whiskey was my drink of choice for a few years, about 35 years ago, but now (and for most of the time between then and now) I've gone right off alcohol in all forms.  I won't even eat a chocolate with a liqueur in it.  I can happily live the rest of my life without tasting it ever again.

But please, remember to publish your conclusions...

If you follow the Facebook trail there is a link to the ebay listing, from which it sold a couple of weeks ago for a touch over 700 notes.  We may assume that if the present seller was the buyer, he's going to want more.  I think it's lovely, btw.

I can't actually imagine how many Class A drugs it would need to make this look good, save perhaps for the fact it'd probably be enough to stone several thousand elephants

'possibly unique'

That is surely true as I'm struggling to comprehend anyone else walking into a Roll Royce dealer in 1991 and asking for a an expensive car painted in council Foden gritter yellow with bumpers and wheeltrims that look like they are chalked on.

Hello, Stupid & Co Customs, how may I help?

'Err, do you murals?'

Yes, madam, what would you like?

Can you do me a giant scorpion with an elephant's head that's trying to put his hand up a bloke with a pick axe for a head's skirt and feel him up a bit?

No problem, sir....

'VAN STUNNING AT NIGHT'

Ideally in the pitch black on Ilkely Moor (bah tat) on the foggiest night of the year during a black out and you've got a paper bag over your head and your eyes are closed?

If he lived near me I'd be tempted to put a picture of Dick Emery (in turned up trousers) in the back window and change the signwriting to Gaylord.

whiskey is horrible - whisky is a proper drink! One thing we could stop exporting to England after September - lol

Bloody hell. A Marshall Minibus! A sort of shittier version of a Dart. I thought they were near enough extinct.

I have been looking at them but they are a bit big for a second "toy"...

Tonight I've been thinking about lobbing a offer in on this, It's pretty local to me, a couple of days ago it finished at £600 but for some reason it's been relisted again though.

Like many of the items on ebay the seller seems unable to set a reserve by conventional methods.  To be the highest bidder you have to outbid his mate who has put a figure in that is more than most will pay.

I do like the 4 door mk3/4 escorts but would want more detailed pictures before entertaining the seller.
