i can see why no one ever ticked them wheels on the option list

They're blobby Scorpio wheels, and they look awful on that too.

Talking of Fords with unsuitable wheels, I really like how this appears to be completely standard except for the most ridiculous alloys possible.

I have owned this vehicle since September 2011 and have covered no more than 20 miles (loved every mile of it)

ok

being the 87 model it was built overseas hence no rot apart from 1 patch of welding on the drivers sill which is ruffly half the size of a £5 note & 1 on the inner wing.

The foreign built ones weren't dipped in boiling seawater like the British ones so there's NO ROT! (except for the bit approximately 5/16ths the size of a £50 note and this one other bit)

I wonder what the ratio is for cars saved by Haynes manuals vs good cars dismantled for the sake of that Build Your Own Sports Car book.

Anyway this one, the product of three years work, looks like it's coming along well.

Might need to whittle a bit off that battery if you want the bonnet to close properly though.

I am a classic car restorer, I charge £25 per hour no vat and take on serious jobs that many say no to.

This is one you should have said no to.

Can't help thinking this can only appreciate in value, depending on the size of the dent in the quarter panel. Got a good spec though.

Wouldn't mind another 525i, my old one was pretty good.

What the hell?! Unbelievably, that fugly thing is made by an Italian company! What happened to Italian style? http://www.dr1.it/index.html

That's a good site!

Along with mega cheap booze and Miss_B, it's one of the best things I found whilst there.

If I was a porn actor, I defo wouldn't need a fluffer. Thirty seconds looking through 1950-1985 search results and I'm good to go.

The DR was new to me.

According to Wankapedia - DR Motor Company is an Italian automobile company, founded in 2006 by Massimo Di Risio. The company produces cars adding design and Italian standards to components supplied by foreign companies such as Chery Automobile.

There's a DR3 on there too.

That underground car park 525i has been sold. A geezer is going to nick the engine for his e30. What a waste of a fine car.

That 518 is nice, looks very tidy.  The DR jobby is just the perfect combination of cars.  So Daewoo built a Matiz, that was rebadged as a Chevrolet and stayed in production rather too long.  That was then copied very badly by the Chinese to make a DR1.  That was then bought by a company with no history of building cars and is being built to Italian standards with extra bits to go wrong.

It's a dream come true.

Autoshite trophies have to be whittled from blocks of second hand furniture with a pocket knife in representation of these vehicles.

Ah my dad had a W reg in this colour in the mid 80s before trading up to the Rover 2300 in brown.

That's my old one! Surprised to see it for sale again so soon as the seller hasn't had it very long. Good to know it's still around and still looks much the same as it did when we sold it, but good luck to him expecting £2750 for it.

I really need to learn how to do this link to ebay thing.

If someone that can could post up the Mad Max Monza that's got about 14 minutes to go in classic cars,I'd be most grateful, it is shocking.

It's easy: right click the address bar so the webpage you want to link to is highlighted, select 'copy', go to reply to post and right click, select 'paste' and the link will appear. Same with photos, just copy and paste (though beware some photos have copyright).
