Tell me you can't see my name written all over that!  It's a bit too young really but how many Firebirds will we find at that kind of price?

...And in an hour it's gone to the wrong side of £2k and still RNM.  So much for that one then.

But then look what I found.....

A Camaro V6 of the same generation.  More money, certainly, but not so far away that it couldn't be done as a daytrip.  Crucially though, at a garage, where they will take a PX.  A PX like a 2004 Jag, perhaps.....................

I’m tempted with this traction. Practicalities aside I would have the wheels done in rouge delage like the pre-war cars. Tyres look odd/old and a set of five Michelins is over £900.

These used to be everywhere back in the day. Thankfully it seems to have avoided the bunting wankers so far.

My parents had the smaller Sprite Alpine from the same year. It was scrapped about 10years ago as the wooden frame had turned to saw dust where it was supposed to be attached to the chassis. A gentle push separated the two.

Says it needs wiring looking at, but potentially just a bad earth or the wrong bulb.

Passed my test on one exactly like that back when the world was black and white. Always thought the seat looked way too long for the bike. My mate had one with an XL175 engine in that went well. If it wasn’t so far away I could be tempted.

I'd love to be there when they try and drag that out, bet it comes out in at least 3 lumps of rotten mini flakes
