Doesn't need one

You do not need to get an MOT if:

the vehicle was built or first registered more than 40 years ago.

"The car passed an MOT even though it doesn’t need an MOT"

Can you have one done that doesn't get recorded on old stuff?

🤔

You can have a "Motor Engineer's Inspection" done by an MoT Tester.

Does not go on the Swansea system.

When I recommission vehicles that have been in long term storage, I get the guy I go to for MoTs to do an Inspection.

And he knows that I'm happy for him to do things like take wheels off etc so he can really check properly.

Often he gives me a list of "needs attention" and points out it would have passed an MoT.

That red Polo is amazing. Here's hoping it doesn't get bought by some angle grinder wielding scene tax bore.

Not sure, I know he put a bigger engine in a Grand Move. Maybe Shanklin area? He had a unit that got fried when another went alight.

Not sure how true this is but I was told a house with pillars can be classed as a place of worship which means they can pay a lot less council tax ?

Don't think it's even that prescribed..

I read that some people have been known to declare one room of their house(s) as a prayer room open to everyone* , then as I understand it , reduced C tax rates kick in...
