I’ve no idea why a doctor is better than, say a bishop? My sister and brother in laws are both doctors ( PhD and DPhil) and know nothing about cars- I get to arrange fixes or ask questions here and I only have 11 letters after my name.

Yes I think they were quite popular with north wales farmers at the time. Able to fit some livestock in the back.

You couldn’t give these away a few years ago. There were a couple always for sale at Beaulieu autojumble for years for a hundred or two.

You might be able to give them away these days, but I doubt you could sell a Sinclair C5 for £1150, even to a facebook fan.  £1150 is Citroen C5 money!
