Do like. I've always had a soft-spot for the 1969 Toronado. I've no idea why.

It may have to do with the fact that they are utterly brilliant?

Disco looks plain weird on Series wheels.

I do like the Viva, dare I be the one to say it looks nicer than the cortina of the same generation.

They'll be Defender rims I reckon, as worn by the Camel Trophy Discos. And mine briefly. Some people really liked them. Ok, Gary Cox liked them.

It seems a shame that they've become a bit forgotten as well as they look bloody handsome. I'd deffo roll in a Galant.

I did.

I don't remember how many NCAP stars it has, but my findings are "enough".  That was numerous rolls down the A10 at 70mph after another car punted me off.  I had a small scratch on my thumb

The ebay one is 2 litre auto which would probably be a bit slow, ours was a V6 manual which was more smooth than powerful but it was a nice drive.

Blimey, that looks horrific!

I should say!  The cut on my thumb was almost a centimetre long!

We didn't replace it with another Galant because even a few years ago it was becoming difficult to find a good one.

By Christ, Gareth, lucky escape there.

Right, I'm not absolutely sure, but I get the feeling this bloke may have had a bad experience selling on ebay. Just maybe.

That A6 advert is class. He's so busy going on about ebay wankers he's barely remembered to advertise the car.

I recon ebay need to enforce a £25 deposit before you can bid on a car as it'll weed out the casual nob end bidders and cover the fee's of seller if the buyer does a bunk.

That is mental. How you got out of that with so little damage to yourself is amazing. I would not even have been able to tell what sort of car it was (if it hadn't said Galant across the back).
