@dollywobbler this is the silliest car on the Internet, I would wager.

What, literally a day after that Dangermouse MX5?

£400!!! I like the look of 145s, but have a funny feeling that shortly following  becoming an owner the appeal would quickly cease.

Are they actually any good, or are their low secondhand prices just cheap admission into a world of pain? #BecauseAlfa

I had a 146. I was quoted £450 for disks and pads back in '99. The manager of the place was so embarassed, he said that the labour would be free.

Apparently, it's much better now as there are compatible parts - I found some Pagid front disks for £63 each. Back in those days, only Alfa could supply them.

Not a bargain at £15K, but just how fantastic is this:

What a find! I didn't realise there were actually any Chevannes left. I think I'd want to have  a good poke around the sills, bottom of the doors and underseal before handing over 15k though. They look decidedly wobbly.

Has anyone else noticed the increase 'sale due to ULEZ' instead of the old 'sale due to company car'

when the car is located in the outer Hebrides for example.

Meanwhile, I've noticed a lot of non-compliant cars for sale in London where the seller doesn't mention the ULEZ at all!

That is an absolute peach. I really hope someone on here buys it. Surely that isn't a difficult project to bring to near-concours. I can see it winning FotU at a canter

it depends what was melted during the fire. That loom looks like it took a bit of heat

It's a cheap early RHD CX, whose going to do a collection thread of this?

Is the oil catch tray indicative of maybe oil dripping from the engine? That seems to garner the attention of MOT testers on my cars.

Sorry - just seen this.....
I always get an advisory on the Mini "oil leak..." - never can find it, reckon 'tis the HP fuel pump dripping 'stuff'

On this Fiat - I think the catch tray is indicative of fancy brick paviers and just what a b'stad it is to get black oil off grey ones. Never met a Series Land Rover owner yet with paviers...

That would be an epic collection thread. I've got a week off next week. Who wants to come with me?

That was on Marketplace for quite a bit less a couple of weeks ago.

It's *never* been MOTd.
