Tidy looking little Cinq with long term owner and loads of MOT, £995.

Bonus Peugeot wheel trims, and Jesus fish (Ichthys)!

For a long time I thought that cars with that fish symbol had an aftermarket Reece-Fish carburetor :)

I can only answer "yes" to two of those questions, but I've watchlisted it anyway.

Was Mercury down market from Ford then?

It used to be Ford, Mercury then Lincoln at the top. Then people asked what's the point of Mercury.

I would have that, they are very comfortable in and old fashioned way. Why not just put a price though?

These are handsome, reliable and pleasant cars to own. I also enjoy driving them. This represents fantastic value for money and the recent MOT history is not scary.

Same platform as the B6 Audi isn't it? I've owned three B6 Avants running the superior PD130 lump and they've been excellent cars. All three are still going to this day, despite their advancing years/use as workhorses. Main headache is the front suspenion setup which is a proper ballache when there's general wear and it's MOT time.

And THAT'S a lesson in how to devalue your Granada and BMW, kids.

I quite like it...
