2.0 V6 wasn't available in the UK, according to the wiki.

Indeed, I don't understand the logic of putting it in; a 1.6 Pinto swapped for a 2.0 Pinto would have been much easier, and probably cheaper; and the Pinto can be tuned to produce extra geegees in an afternoon with a flat screwdriver, some sandpaper and a hammer. I NOES THIS

A 2 litre V6 ford engine. I did not know that.

From a 1965 Ford Corsair?

Maybe just from a european Sierra 2.0 V6. At least one of those would have all the right mounts etc.

Italian maybe

I bet that 2.0 v6 drinks like a v8 but probably makes less powers than a pinto.

I went to Cologne as a passenger in a new 17M with the 1.8 v6. Impressed this (kid) as a very  quiet car.  Much later, the 4.0 v6 in a rented Windstar utterly failed to impress.  Wheazy, rough and gutless.

This looks like a mega barg.

I'm not sure how to share the link but there can't be many mx-5 turbos for sale in Gateshead.....

If it had been an original BBR Turbo that would be the steal of the century.

Nah, that would be a 1663cc V4.  The 2.0 only came in later, but was still a V4.  Smol V6 is definitely a German engine, if it's Ford at all.

Hang on now, who puts different-sized tyres on the same axle?

I’ve always found these Arosas and Lupos quite appealing. This ones got Mot until February next year and hasn’t had any bids with a £200 start. As it’s in the parts section, I suspect it may end up being a bit of a bargain for someone. Irritatingly though, the seller says the car has issues, but doesn’t say what they are...

Has it? I suppose that it’s not the bargain I may have thought it was then

That is superb.

What does the SmartNAV button do exactly?  Never seen that on a 75 before.

As far as I know it is (or was) a live traffic warning system, sort of like a basic version of apps such as waze. I suspect that it’s something that hasn’t been available for years now unfortunately

That sold on eBay earlier for £1,070.  Don't know if it's been bought by a flipper or if it's the original seller been messed about on eBay and trying his luck elsewhere.

I wouldn't see that at anything like £1,800 tbh.
