That white-bumper Simca  / Chrysler looks to be in amazing condition!  Most here in UK were more rusty by the time the warranty was out.  (6 months)

This is the perfect colour combo for one of these and I really quite want this one.

Good advert too, Good photographs.

Semi-serious question. Does anyone have any experience of importing from The Netherlands?

Your local garden centre?

?Good point. Tulips from Amsterdam and all that.

Anyone for chocolate cake while I’m at it?

A Bristol is a fine and eccentric car to own. I would love one but they are galactically expensive to keep in decent nick. There is a specialist in Wiltshire who has a good reputation and who has  what looks to be a very nice 411 up at about £70k (https://www.sljhackett.co.uk/cars/bristol-411-wr.htm). Is it really worth 70k? Not in my opinion but I suspect that's where our eBay advertiser got his "worth" value from.

The 411 is quite a looker but while engine and transmission parts are pretty straightforward and quite easy to obtain, everything else isn't.

Thanks for all the positive feedback on my first post. After 12 months of watching.... I think I’m understanding more about the “AS” life choices/addiction

Think we’ve had this one before, but months ago.
Now I have three motors, no space, and absolutely no use for this whatsoever, other than for 2 weeks each summer on a European road trip..... which won’t be happening this year....... (so again absolutely no use!) and yet.... I’ve had to UHU my arm to the kitchen table, so I don’t click to bid on it!
Is this what happens after prolonged exposure to AS ? If so, what’s the cure?

Yes but I doubt i’d be able to hide that thing in a shipment of coffee beans.

Oo, a Wizard of Rods Roadster kit.  I’m right back in Street Machine in 1984.

My mate had a Wizzard van. It was fucking horrible.

This is my old one that i spent an age welding/tidying up only to find the gearbox was hatefully notchey when warmed up and so i bailed out and sold it to this chap in 2018 for £650.

He was a bit of a Saab licker who had access to a good gearbox, just a shame the paint won't hold a shine for longer than a couple of weeks.
