"Talbot motorhome rebuild or spares no engine box bonnet had water damage but good rolling shell"

Possibly a candidate for the just fucking scrap it thread?

Ha ha, never seen a Kath and Kim reference on here before. Don't know how big they are (or were) in Australia but I think they were pretty obscure over here, late night BBC 2 sort of thing.

Good for chod as Kel had his gold Matiz and Brett had a Holden Something that looked like an 80s Vauxhall Carlton.

It was and still is very popular in Australia, a national icon even.

There is some excellent chod in it, Brett’s Holden Commodores (a VK and a VN) and Gary Poole’s Nissan Pulsar EXA come to mind.

At first glance I thought it was MGP 911Y, but seems to be one of it's double-gangers.

There seems to be a few UK Sambas in Jonquil Yellow:

I can't tell you why this is appealing to me.  Perhaps I feel sorry for it.

Having had one of these in the family, and myself owned a variant car (The Space Runner/RVR) I can wholeheartedly say these are excellent little people movers.   ? They're nice and "easy" to drive, not particularly powerful, but (what I thought was) a torquey 2.0 litre engine. I always thought it was a pleasant Sunday afternoon car.

It does need saving! And it doesn't look rusty at a glance either. Get it bought. ?
