That is lovely, but I don't really see anyone paying that much? Again , rare doesn't always equate to valuable.

It's appeared here at least once before and has turned more tricks on e-flog than Belle de Jour.

Found it sold for £500 in an auction, https://www.brightwells.com/lot-details/100007250

Prefer the original number plates on it as opposed to the replicas - why do I notice such things?

I thought there was a chance it was this one https://petrolblog.com/2012/09/bangerwatch-renault-11-1-4-tse-automatic/

Plates on that 11 look the same to me - am I missing something?

The dealer looks to have taken off the originals and made up some replica number plates

How flippin' cool is that? I've never seen rosé interior on a car before. Just lovely.

Not sure I’ve got the stamina to go all the way on this one, but it’s fun to tease the wife anyway. If it comes in at £sensible then I might flog some old audio kit I’ve got doing nothing.

Cheers ??

Ha,ha. There was a company that imported the Indian (well it said TATA on the front) built versions, chucked the engine away and fitted an electric motor.

They gave "us" (I was then working for a multinational company that may* have been called TATA) one to try.

Fortunately I was on holiday when the internal PR machine interviewed those who drove it.

My sidekicks comments of fucking death trap, slows down when you put the radio on etc was turned into "these are the way forward".

Landscape pictures would help for a start. These MK3's are going to be the hot thing on AS in 2020.

I like that, but not as much as late mk2s. A few mot fails, nothing of any real consequence, though I've never seen this before;

*Steering lock inadvertently engaging keeps turning to the left and not engaging

Fom a couple of years ago so presumably fixed.

From that angle I can see a hint of Scimitar to the styling, it is a lovely thing but I need a lottery win that will cover ownership of a nice dry barn of generous proportions to house such whimsical purchases.
